Craig D. Pozzi

Craig Dennis Pozzi, a Clark County photographer and artist, born Nov. 18, 1942, Pittsburgh, and lived in Clark County for the past 13 years.
Mr. Pozzi had taught photography at Clark College, Portland State University and the University of Utah.
A member of the American Civil Liberties Union, he was involved with alternative radio. Mr. Pozzi enjoyed traveling.
Survivors include his wife, Angela Haseltine Pozzi, at home; daughter, Nicola B. Pozzi, at home; mother, Arlene McDowell of Escondido, Calif.; and sisters, Susan Cassellius of Valley Center, Calif., and Janis Pozzi-Johnson of Chicago.
A service will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at Michael Servetus Unitarian Univeralist Fellowship.

Evelyn Russell
Bend, Ore.
Evelyn "Trudy" Russell, 52, a former Clark County resident, born March 4, 1952, in Pendleton, Ore. She had been an information assistant for the U.S. Forest Service and owned Trudy's Touch Massage Therapy, both in Vancouver.
She enjoyed camping, rockhounding, cooking and making Christmas candy.
Survivors include two daughters, Stephani Kmetova and Angela Kmetova, both of Tacoma; three sons, David of Fircrest, Richard of Tacoma and Bradley of Vancouver; one brother, Robert Moore of Athens, Ohio; four sisters, Daisy Lydy of Bend, Lila Romp and Betty Rayl, both of Stanfield, Ore., and Dorothy Zinter of Hermiston, Ore.; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at Vancouver Seventh-day Adventist Church. Niswonger-Reynolds Funeral Home in Bend is in charge of arrangements.

David W. Scott
La Center
David Waite Scott, who lived in La Center for a week, born June 10, 1945, in Arcadia, Fla.
He enjoyed hiking, mountain climbing, running and reading the Bible.
Survivors include his wife of six years, Patricia C., at home; one daughter, Anna C. Crow of Vancouver; two sons, David B. and Shadrack, both of North Bend; six sisters, Edith Howard of Princeton, N.J., Marion Scott of Stow, Mass., Jannaruth Jenner of Beverly, Mass., Mercia Noble of Blacksburg, Va., Meredith Pitts of Wenham, Mass., and Laura Pearlman of South Portland, Maine; two brothers, Raymond of Spotsylvania, Va., and Douglas of Gilford, N.H.; and one granddaughter.
There will be no service. Evergreen Staples Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Frank J. Seljack
Vancouver
Frank John Seljack, 84, a retired railroad car inspector, born July 8, 1920, in Livingston, Ill., and lived in Vancouver since 1954.
Mr. Seljack worked for Burlington Northern Railroad for 33 years before retiring in 1982.
He was an Army veteran of World War II. He enjoyed gambling on the horses and and dogs and was a fan of the Chicago Cubs.
His wife, Maxine, died in 1947.
Survivors include one daughter, Lisa Bodner of Vancouver; two sisters, Alfreida Bolin of Livingston, Ill., and Madeline Bonesteel of Staunton, Ill.; one brother, Alfred Langer of Livingston; and two grandchildren.
There will be no service. Davies Cremation & Burial Services was in charge of arrangements.

Margaret Mae Shields, a homemaker, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004, in Vancouver. She was 74.

Keith VanVleet

Keith VanVleet, a former Camas resident, born July 6, 1934, in Portland.
He was a Navy veteran and spent the last several years living in Troutdale.
He is survived by friends and caregivers at Village Manor in Troutdale.
There will be a private burial. Straub's Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of arrangements.
Anna E. Atha
Nevada City, Calif.
Former Vancouver resident Anna Elizabeth Atha born March 3, 1920, in Minnesota. She lived at Vancouver Mall Retirement Community in Vancouver for three years before moving to her daughter's home in Nevada City two months ago. Her maiden name was Westvold.
Her husband, Gerald C., died Friday, Nov. 12, 2004, in Las Vegas. He was 75.
Mr. Condon was died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, in Vancouver. She was 81.
Her husband, Gordon, born Dec. 12, 1922, in Chatfield, Minn.
Survivors include three daughters, Cheryl Ceplecha of Colorado Springs, Colo., Vickie Flanigan of Vancouver and Mary Carter of Corvallis, Ore.; one sister, Jacqueline J. Johnson of Grand Rapids, Minn.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed painting, dancing, gardening and cake decorating.
A memorial service will begin at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel.

Lily M. Hilley

A homemaker and caregiver who enjoyed traveling in her motor home and fishing, Lily Mae Hilley born Nov. 10, 1929, in Frankfurt, Ind., and lived in Vancouver for 36 years. She was known for her creative cooking and for being unbeatable at the game of Skipbo. She also enjoyed crocheting and knitting.
