A machinist for Alcoa, Orval W. Bull born July 15, 1915, in Laurel, Mont., and lived in the Vancouver area the past 60 years. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Irene C., at home; one daughter, Roberta Jones of Vancouver; one son, Larry of Escondido, Calif.; one sister, Wilma Langley of Portland; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. There will be no service. Private burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens died in Vancouver on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2000, of heart problems. She was 76. Her husband, Howard T., born Jan. 30, 1924, of Camas and lived in Camas all her life. Her maiden name was Wethered. She was a weaver at the Pendleton Woolen Mill in Washougal. Survivors include one daughter, Carol May of Packwood; one son, Marshall Cates of Altadena, Calif.; four brothers, Cecil A. Wethered of Nampa, Idaho, William M. Wethered and Harold R. Wethered, both of Klickitat, and Roy A. Wethered of Camas; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Ferguson was a member of Moose Lodge 1040, Eagles Lodge 4390, the Washougal Senior Nutrition Activities Program and the Washougal Grange. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Camas. She enjoyed playing bingo and crocheting. Burial will be in Memory Memorial Park. Brown's Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

A Vancouver area resident for most of her life, Beverly Jean Schram, 57, born Oct. 16, 1942, in Bismarck, N.D. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Royal Riders 4-H Club and Southwest Washington Arabian Association . She was an avid doll collector and enjoyed bowling and horses. Recitation of the rosary will begin at 6 tonight at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A funeral Mass will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens died in Vancouver Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000. She was death by a son, Joey. A graveside service will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Brush Prairie died at home Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000. He was 83. Mr. Holmgren was Cemetery Association. He had been a Little League coach. Evergreen Staples Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
David C. Mossman

Former Vancouver resident David C. Mossman born March 31, 1919, in Wauna, Ore. He lived in Vancouver for a number of years. Mr. Mossman, who served in the Navy 27 years, was a survivor of the Pearl Harbor attack and served in Korean War. Later, he worked for Pacific Marine for 15 years as a safety inspector. He was a member of the Philadelphia Church of God in Portland. Survivors include a stepdaughter, Sherri Gustafson of Washougal; a sister, Virginia Kennedy of Oregon City, Ore.; one brother, Fred Mossman of Michigan; and two grandchildren. A graveside service will begin at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Willamette National died in a local care center Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000. She was 76. Mrs. Rancore was a member of the Moose Lodge and enjoyed reading and crocheting. She was died in 1978. Survivors include one daughter, Peggy Glass of Brush Prairie; two sons, Richard of Ridgefield and Donald of Vancouver; one sister, Helga Chenette of Ridgefield; one brother of Al Hansen of Vancouver; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. A funeral will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday at Maple Grove Church in Battle Ground. Burial will be in Memory Memorial Park in Vancouver. Vancouver Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

A homemaker who lived in Clark County the past nine years, Naomi Arlene Bastian death. Mrs. Bastian was died at home Monday, Feb. 14, 2000. She was 49. She was a legal assistant for Boyd and Gaffney in Orchards. Ms. Coen was died at her daughter's home in Washougal on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000. A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at Straub's Funeral Home in Camas. Private inurnment will be in White Salmon born Aug. 28, 1913, in Stutzman County, N.D. She moved to White Salmon in 1954 and to Camas in the late 1960s. A daughter, DeEtta Wilson, preceded her in died in Vancouver on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2000. He was 64. Mr. Gunderson was a residential lighting manufacturer's representative. He was died in 1999, and a grandson preceded him in died in Vancouver on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2000. He was 59. Mr. Lackey was died in 1991, and a stepdaughter, Becky Thompson, died in a local care center Monday, Feb. 14, 2000. Mr. Hansen was died in 1994. Survivors include one daughter, Dorrie Palandrani of Vancouver; and two grandchildren. A memorial service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Salmon Creek United Methodist Church. Evergreen Staples Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to charity of donor's choice.

Gizella Mae Stokes, a four-year resident of Clark County, born Dec. 14, 1944, in Detroit. She was a member of Battle Ground United Methodist Church and Fort Vancouver Antique Equipment Association. Mrs. Stokes was a sail boat enthusiast and active in the Coast Guard Auxiliary in Michigan. She raised English cocker spaniels.
