Agnes E. Osier

A gathering will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday in the hospitality room at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel for Agnes Ellen Osier, who died in 1996; a son, Donald Jr., died in 1986. Four grandchildren also preceded her in born Feb. 26, 1910, in Independence, Ore., and moved to Vancouver in the early 1970s.
She was known for her cooking and sewing.
Clarissa B. Sykes

A service will begin at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel for Clarissa B. Sykes, who died in 1994.
Mrs. Sykes was died Dec. 2, 2002, in Vancouver. He was 74.
Mr. Wanless, an instructor at Clark College for 32 years, was died in February 2002.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen Fraback of Vancouver and Paulette Wanless Smith of Battle Ground; four sons, Stanley Wanless and Richard Stonehouse, both of Seattle, Bradley Wanless of Fort Myers, Fla., and Darrell Stonehouse of Vancouver; two sisters, Trula Mason of Vancouver and June Boys of Bellevue; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Wanless, who retired in 1988, enjoyed golfing, gardening and building things. He was a member of Club Green Meadows and Carson Golf Course.
Inurnment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens died Nov. 19, 2002, in Canon City after a long illness. He was 79.
Mr. Curtis was death by a daughter, Linda Curtis.
Mr. Curtis worked for Hewlett-Packard Co. as an electrical engineer from 1970 until he retired in 1986. He moved to Canon City from Vancouver in 1995.
Survivors include his wife, Janice, at home; two daughters, Cherryl A. Hotze of Penrose, Colo., and Ardell Curtis of Williamsburg, Colo.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will begin at 3 p.m. Monday at Holt Chapel of the Garden in Canon City. Inurnment will be in Fort Logan died Nov. 24, 2002, at home of cancer.
He was died Dec. 4, 2002, in Woodland. He was 63.
Mr. Lemke worked for Lewis River Motors in Woodland for 42 years.

Lawrence T. Dorsey Sr.
Woodland
A Navy veteran of both World War I and World War II who lived in Woodland since 1966, Lawrence Theodore Dorsey Sr., born July 2, 1899, in Oak Point. He graduated from Oak Point School and joined the Navy in 1916.
He retired from the Navy in 1933, and re-enlisted for three more years in 1942. While in the Navy he served on the USS Marblehead, USS Goldsburough, USS Oregon, USS Cheyenne, USS Maryland, USS South Dakota, USS Boston and USS Reed.
He retired as a master chief boatswain's mate and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Fleet Reserve Association, and the Retreads, a group of veterans who served in both world wars.
A caring and patriotic person who enjoyed hunting, gun collecting, gardening, travel and reading westerns, Mr. Dorsey was also known for his hard work and great storytelling. His motto was "early to bed, early to rise."
He was preceded in Cemetery. Wilhelm Funeral Home in Portland is in charge of arrangements.

A died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2002, at her home in Vancouver. She was 81.
Cemetery. The casket will be open from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral chapel.

A lifetime resident of Clark County who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the Portland Trail Blazers, Eva M. King, 85, born Oct. 9, 1917, in Yelm. She worked as a syrup maker for Del Monte until her retirement.
Her husband, Marvin, Cemetery. Vancouver Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Reuben Swetzig

A retired machinist who worked for Columbia Machine, Reuben Swetzig, 83, born Feb. 10, 1919, in Greeley, Colo., and lived in Clark County for 48 years. He enjoyed attending his grandson's sporting events, car shows, carpentry, yard work and his family.
Survivors include his wife, Helen, at home; one daughter, Priscilla Boxberger of Vancouver; four sisters, Doris Smith, Helen Eberhardt and Emma King, all of California, and Molly Swetzig of Colorado; three grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Northwood Park Cemetery. The casket will be open from noon to 7 p.m. Monday at Vancouver Funeral Chapel.
