Former Vancouver resident Janice Kay Hilton, 46, born Sept. 30, 1953, and raised in Eugene, Ore. She lived in Vancouver two years.
She was a homemaker and an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous. She was an avid shopper and swam at the YWCA for many years.
Survivors include two daughters, Tracy Trinh of Vancouver and Megan Hanner of Portland; her stepmother, Eileen Hilton of Sacramento, Calif.; one sister, Liz Hilton of Portland; one stepsister, Faith VanOmmen of Citrus Heights, Calif.; one brother, Rick Hilton of West Linn, Ore.; four grandchildren; and her companion, Richard "Rick" Boyd of Portland.
A service was Saturday at Rose City Funeral Home in Portland.

Virgil H. Keepers
Auburn
Virgil H. Keepers, 79, born Oct. 1, 1920, in Madison, Wis. Mr. Keepers lived in Vancouver 28 years, moving to Auburn about 11/2 years ago.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Jeanne, at home; two daughters, Peggy J. Polinder of Bellevue and Kathie L. Olson of Auburn; one son, James V. of Portland; one sister, Carmen McCormick of Aberdeen; one brother, Joseph Keepers of Centralia; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service will begin at noon Saturday at Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Bellevue.

Delmore V. Rogers
Vancouver
A 62-year Vancouver resident, Delmore Vincent Rogers death.
He is survived by four daughters, Diana Denton, Pamela Barragan and Pat Carstensen, all of Vancouver, and Darlene Beatty of Yacolt; four sons, Alan Rogers of Vancouver, Terry Rogers of Woodland, Michael Rogers of Battle Ground and Stanley Holy of Buckley; two sisters, Mavis Krajewski of Connecticut and Goldie LaClerc of New Hampshire; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and his companion, Lillly M. Beacock.
Mr. Rogers worked in shipyards during World War II.
He enjoyed gardening and then sharing the vegetables with his friends and neighbors. He loved his dog, Buck.
There will be an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday in the community room at the trailer park at 15411 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd. His body was cremated. Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Genevieve J. Kilmer
Camas
A two-year Camas resident who loved gardening and animals, Genevieve J. Kilmer born Jan. 9, 1923, in Oak Park, Ill. Her maiden name was Johnson.
Survivors include her husband, Charles W., at home; one daughter, Muriel Owens of Camas; three sons, Charles of Rockland, Calif., Christopher of Kansas City, Mo., and James of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; two brothers, John Johnson of Elgin, Ill., and James D. Johnson of Fort Meyers, Fla.; and six grandchildren.
There will be no service. Brown's Funeral Home in Camas was in charge of arrangements.

Robert P. Lamarche
Vancouver
Retired Frito-Lay fork-lift driver Robert P. Lamarche born Oct. 18, 1925, in Manchester, N.H., and lived in Vancouver the past 23 years.
Survivors include three daughters, Rita Lamarche of Manchester, Sandra Munsel of Louisville, Ky., and Kimberly Schlenker of Toppenish; three sons, Michael Randolph of California and Steven Randolph and Jerry Randolph, both of Vancouver; one sister, Theresa Demers of Manchester; one brother, Henry Lamarche of Manchester.; and five grandchildren.
There will be no service. His body will be cremated. Burial will be in Willamette National died at home of cancer Wednesday, June 7, 2000. She was 69.
Mrs. Oster was death.
Survivors include one daughter, Lonibeth Harbison of Goldendale; three sons, Orville, George and David, all of Vancouver; two brothers, John Vetter of Torrence, Calif., and Frank Vetter of Bellevue; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Oster cared for elderly people. She enjoyed playing bingo.

John P. Rieck
Battle Ground
Lifelong Battle Ground resident John Peter Rieck born April 28, 1917, in Battle Ground, was a grocer. He owned Rieck Bros. Grocery and other stores.
Survivors include one daughter, Margo Leonard of Corvallis, Ore.; one son, John L. of Chandler, Ariz.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Rieck was a past member of Battle Ground Kiwanis Club, Battle Ground Commercial Club and an original member of the Battle Ground City Council.
He enjoyed raising roses, working crossword puzzles and traveling. He liked to talk about the old days in Battle Ground.
A graveside service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Memory Memorial Park. The casket will be open from 4 to 6 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Layne's Funeral Home in Battle Ground.
Robert Ivie
Vancouver
A member of Prairie Community Church who enjoyed golfing, snow and water skiing, scuba diving, motorcycle riding, camping, reading, and antiquing, Robert Ivie, 74, born May 20, 1926, in Sand Point, Idaho and had lived in Vancouver since 1972.
He was a member of the Canadian Royal Air Force, the Army Air Corps, the Marines and the Merchant Marine. After World War II he attended the University of Chicago. He last worked as a construction superintendent until a 1986 accident forced him to retire.
He was a member of Carpenters Union 247, Mount Hood Masonic Lodge, the Shriners and American Legion Smith-Reynolds Post 14.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Faith, at home; one son, Robert of California; one daughter, Kristan D. Ivie of Austin, Texas; one sister, Marjorie Noyes of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada; and four grandchildren.
A died Thursday, July 20, 2000, in Vancouver. He was 87.
Mr. Schultz was died in 1994.
Survivors include one son, Ralph of Vancouver; one granddaughter, Tamera Beber of Washougal; and two great-granddaughters.
A graveside service will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mountain View died Friday, July 21, 2000. She was 41.
She was born April 16, 1959, in San Diego.
Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Ken G., at home; her mother, Valerie Barnett of San Diego; two sons, Justin, at home, and Troy Gentry of Orlando, Fla.; two brothers, Randall Allen of San Diego and Robert Allen of Vancouver; three sisters, Candy Dohrer and Cheryl Barrigan, both of San Diego, and Sunday Whitman of New York; and one grandson.
She was a sun worshipper and liked to follow the sun.
There will be a gathering at noon Thursday at the family home, 205 N.E. 151st Ave. Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
