A former Clark County resident, Raymond Royal Winchester, 87, born May 5, 1915, in Hurley, Iowa, and owned a farm in Battle Ground for 20 years. He loved farming and enjoyed traveling to visit family and friends.
He was preceded in died in 1990.
Survivors include one sister, Ruth Grabin of Wessington Springs, S.D.; three brothers, William and Howard, both of Longview, and Arlis V. of Mossyrock; and one grandchild.
A graveside service will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Park Hill died Friday, Dec. 6, 2002, in Bellevue. She was 86.
Her husband, Edward E. Carter Sr., death.
Mrs. Carter was Cemetery. Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Marjorie B. Davies, who worked in the insurance business for 35 years, born Jan. 27, 1922, in Spokane and lived in Vancouver 40 years. Her maiden name was Dehm.
Survivors include one son, Scott of Vancouver; one sister, Evelyn Governor of Battle Ground; one brother, Russell Dehm of Portland; and one grandchild.
Mrs. Davies, who worked in the shipyards during World War II, enjoyed bowling, dancing and making handmade Christmas tree ornaments.
A memorial service will begin at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel.

There will be a private graveside service at Camas died Friday, Dec. 6, 2002, in Vancouver of breast cancer. She was 33.
Mrs. Day was died Friday, Dec. 6, 2002, at home. He was 77.
Mr. Desper was died in 1971.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Audry, at home; two daughters, Shirley Ayers of Battle Ground and Donna Davis of Kailua Kona, Hawaii; one son, Dale of Vancouver; two sisters, Lillian Highnote of Anchorage, Alaska, and Muriel Adams of Riverside, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Mr. Desper enjoyed collecting miniature cars and traveling to Reno, Nev.

Miss Freeman was died Friday, Dec. 6, 2002, in Vancouver. She was 87.
Her husband, Paul, and a daughter, Simone Arnold, preceded her in born March 17, 1915, in St. Rose Du Lac, Manitoba. Her maiden name was Pelletier.
Survivors include one daughter, Paulette Davies of Brush Prairie; two sons, Ron and Rene, both was Battle Ground; one sister, Irene Roche of Winnipeg, Manitoba; one brother, Maurice Pelletier of La Com, Alberta; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Martin was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She liked reading, watching soap operas and game shows and baking pies, especially apple and blueberry.
Burial will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Evergreen Memorial Gardens died Saturday, Dec. 7, 2002, in Vancouver. He was 57.

Verlin R. Baldwin

Verlin Roscoe Baldwin born March 28, 1904, in Fayette County, Ill.
After graduating from Mount Morris College, he taught at several schools in Illinois. He moved to Vancouver in 1946 and became a real estate broker. He later ran a shoe shop until he retired.
His wife of 62 years, Flossie, died at home Sunday, Dec. 8, 2002. He was 89.
Mr. Emrich was born June 22, 1913, in Portland and moved to Vancouver in 1960.
He worked in Vancouver for KGAR-AM and KKEY-AM radio.
Survivors include his wife, Win, at home; one daughter, Dian Golliday of Jordan Valley, Ore.; two sons, Cliff of Merced, Calif., and Scott of Vancouver; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
There will be a private service.
