A memorial will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at the East Vancouver United Methodist Church for Fred J. Platt, who born July 30, 1914, in Parma, Idaho, and lived in Clark County for the past 57 years.
His brother, Norman, preceded him in died in Vancouver on Friday, July 28, 2000. He was 76.
Mr. Smith was died July 9, 2000. She was 82.
Mrs. Langworthy, a retired waitress of 60 years, was death, along with one sister, Ruth Edwards, and one brother, Howard Taylor.
Survivors include one daughter, Judith Alziebler-Neirstheimer of Vancouver; one son, F. David Perillo of Chicago; two sisters, Leona Everett of Battle Ground, and Nora Rotola of Roseville, Calif.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Langworthy enjoyed watching and following Chicago White Sox baseball and knitting.
No service is planned at her request. Davies Cremation and Burial Services is in charge of arrangements.
Betty J. Andersen
Vancouver
A Vancouver resident for one year, Betty Jane Andersen, born on June 8, 1934, in Newport, Ore. Her maiden name was Thurston.
Survivors include her husband, Robert, at home; one son, Timothy of Salem, Ore.; one daughter, Lori Salzer of Vancouver; one sister, Delores Sullivan of Salem, Ore.; and five grandchildren.
She enjoyed running on the beach, singing, playing the trumpet and writing.
A celebration of life service will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Fairway Village Club House Ball Room. Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Ralph S. Arnold

A Vancouver resident since 1941, Ralph S. Arnold, born May 19, 1913.
His daughter, Mary Theresa, preceded him in Interment will follow in the St. John's Catholic died of cardiac arrest Friday, July 28, 2000, in Portland. He was 47.
Mr. Bigham, an electrician, was died at home of cancer on Saturday, July 29, 2000. He was 63.
Mr. Dick was death.
He is survived by his wife, Irene, at home; two sons, Ralph J. Jr. of Auburn, Kan., and Randy of Redmond; three daughters, Jen Beevers of Wichita, Kan., Shelly Pressgrove of Topeka, Kan., and Shaunda Golden of Milwaukie, Ore.; three brothers, James, Dwayne and Robert, all of Hutchinson, Kan.; one sister, Delores Crow of Hutchinson, Kan.; seven grandsons and one granddaughter.
Mr. Dick was a member of the Army National Guard. He enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, traveling and watching old movies. He was a volunteer at St. Julianna Catholic Church in Orange County, Calif. for many years and recently for the Salvation Army in Vancouver.
A funeral will begin at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel with an Cemetery. Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Dovella I. Faethers

A Vancouver resident since 1981, Dovella I. "Honey" Faethers, born Aug. 29, 1917, in Great Falls, Idaho. Her maiden name was Farnsworth.
Survivors include her husband, Roger A., at home; one daughter, Deanna "Dee" Chase of Vancouver; two sons, Grant Farrens and Frank Farrens, both of Vancouver; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was an artist who enjoyed oils, watercolors, cross-stitch, tatting, crocheting, knitting and quilting.
A funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Evergreen Staples Funeral Chapel. A private burial will be at Skyline Memorial Gardens. Evergreen Staples Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Colton D. Lineberger

Colton David Lineberger, son of J.D. and Kelly Lineberger, was stillborn Saturday, July 29, 2000, in Vancouver.
A graveside service will begin at 3 p.m. today at Longview Memorial Park. An died Thursday, July 27, 2000. in Portland. He was 69.
Mr. McCreary was married Patricia Carey in 1957.
He was in the Air Force and a veteran of the Korean War. Mr. McCreary worked as a steel warehouseman for 30 years and was an avid fisherman and Seattle Seahawks fan.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia McCreary of Vancouver; three daughters, Julie Raskin, Vickie McCreary and Anne Lafayette all of Vancouver; one son, Mark McCreary of Vancouver; one sister, Genevive Harding of Vancouver; one brother, Charles McCreary of Vancouver; and 10 grandchildren.
A graveside memorial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Willamette National died Friday, July 28, 2000, in Vancouver. She was 100.
Her husband, Arthur, preceded her in born Dec. 16, 1899, in County Kildare, Ireland, and moved to Camas in 1981 from Michigan.
Survivors include one daughter, Beverly Toolson of Camas; three sons, Alyn of Allen Park, Mich., Jerry of Adrian, Mich., and Kenny of Ponca City, Okla.; 16 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Bufton was an active member of St. Thomas Catholic Church, the Camas/Washougal Book Club and a past national officer with the Camas Soroptimist. She enjoyed knitting afghans, gardening and watching Jeopardy.
A funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Thomas Catholic Church with a burial to follow at Camas Cemetery. Straub's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
