A memorial service will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Ryan D. Ferrante, who born June 30, 1974, in Portland.
Survivors include his mother, Miriam Hasson Byler of Vancouver; his father, Rudy Ferrante of Vancouver; one sister, Alex Ferrante of Vancouver; and grandparents, Margaret and Joe Hasson of Portland.
Mr. Ferrante enjoyed sports and computers.
Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Leland B. Fralick
Woodland
Leland "Lee" Burdette Fralick, who lived in Woodland for many years, born April 11, 1912, in Ottowa, Calif.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Hannah, at home; two daughters, Sandra Wolford of Brush Prairie and Kathy Dolezal of Connell, Wash.; one son, Robert of Ariel; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Fralick, a World War II veteran, attended Battle Ground Methodist Church.
He was a worthy patron twice and a former master of Twin Falls Masonic Lodge in Yacolt, a member of the Shriners and in the early 1960s, chairman of the Yacolt School Board.
A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at Layne's Funeral Home in Battle Ground.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of a donor's choice.
Lovell M. Groves

A funeral will begin at 1:30 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church for Lovell Myron Groves, who born June 8, 1913, in Stockton, Calif., and was a 38-year Clark County resident.
His first wife, Fern, and his second wife, Florence, both preceded him in Cemetery. Vancouver Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Charlie M. Gomez
Olympia
Former Vancouver resident Charlie Martinez Gomez born Oct. 3, 1935, in Salinas, Calif. He lived in Vancouver from 1969 to 1992 before moving to Olympia.
Survivors include two sons, Gerardo of Vancouver and Charlie Jr.; three sisters, Christina of Anaheim, Calif., and Rose Mary and Linda, both of Lacey, Wash.; six brothers, Tony of Fullerton, Calif., Jimmy of Manhattan, Kan., Reuben, George, and Le Roy, all of California, and Jessie of Vancouver; and two grandchildren.
Mr. Gomez loved playing pool.
A graveside service will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20 at Tahoma National died at home Friday, Dec. 6, 2002. He was 77.
His wife of 40 years, Alda V., born Aug. 31, 1925, in Zap, N.D., and lived in Vancouver 65 years.
Survivors include two brothers, Helmer H. of Vancouver and Eddie E. of Lacey, Wash.
Mr. Lang was an apprentice seaman in the Naval Reserve and a member of the Salmon Creek American Legion. He liked traveling, fishing, clamming and playing cards, especially pinochle.
A funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Evergreen Staples Funeral Chapel. Private burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery for Glen Mason, who born May 23, 1914, in Milan, Mo. He moved to the Washougal area in 1948, then to Trout Lake, and in 1980 he moved back to Washougal. He moved to Lyle in 1994.
Mr. Mason worked at the Pendleton Woolen Mill and retired from the old Crown Zellerbach paper mill. He enjoyed farming his land.
His wife, Thelma, death.
Survivors include three daughters, Carol Terpening of Seattle, and Pattie Van Sickle and Glenda Baxter, both of Ridgefield; two sons, Charles and Kenneth, both of Vancouver; two brothers; one sister; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The casket will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to noon Thursday at Straub's Funeral Home in Camas.
Annis J. Roberts
Vancouver
Annis J. Roberts, a Vancouver resident since 1942, died in 1981, and a son and a daughter also preceded her in born Feb. 19, 1906, in Lynch, Neb. Her maiden name was Sanders.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol Costanzo and Arlise Olson, both of Portland; two sons, Everett of Portland and Hiel E. of Vancouver; one sister, Gertrude Dotson of Harlowton, Mont.; 12 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Roberts taught school in Montana before coming to Vancouver in 1942 and working in the shipyards. She later worked at Del Monte Cannery for several years.
She was a member of Hillcrest Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed crocheting and gardening.
A service will begin at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens died Monday, Dec. 9, 2002, in Vancouver. He was 81.
Mr. Roff, an Army veteran of World War II, received several medals.
He was Cemetery in Portland.

Charles S. Stafford

Charles Sydney Staffod born June 22, 1916, in Portland. He moved to Clark County in 1964.
He played on the golf teams while attending Oregon State University and the University of Oregon. Mr. Stafford loved playing golf at Royal Oaks Country Club and also liked playing cards, particularly bridge.
He worked for Northwestern and General Insurance companies and began his own company in the early 1950s.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Maxine, at home; one daughter, Tracy of Seattle; one son, Thomas of Lake Oswego; and one brother, Lou of Portland.
A service will be private.
