He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Vancouver.
He enjoyed gourmet cooking, metal sculpting, making jewelry and collecting wines.
A memorial service will begin at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church. Sunnyside Little Chapel of the Chimes in Portland is in charge of arrangements.

Tutasi Helen Ramsey, who was a pharmacist technician at Southwest Washington Medical Center for 31 years, born Dec. 12, 1939, in American Samoa. Her maiden name was Wilson.
Survivors include her husband, William, at home; two daughters, Cindy Ramsey of Vancouver and Joleanne Shockley of Columbus, Ohio; two sons, Bill of Los Angeles and Ripley of Vancouver; five sisters, Mary Swanger and Sophie Attebery, both of Vancouver, and Ada Mageo, Saitaua Wilson and Helen W. Richardson, all of Carson, Calif.; seven brothers, Michael Warren of Vancouver, William Warren of Kent, Wash., Patrick Warren of Klamath Falls, Ore., Roy Wilson of Concord, Calif., Carl Wilson of San Francisco, Leo'o V. Mao of American Samoa and Eddie Wilson of Kansas City, Mo.; and five grandsons.
Mrs. Ramsey liked crossword puzzles, the beach, reading Harlequin romances and mysteries.
A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at Evergreen Staples Funeral Chapel.

A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at McVicker Funeral Home in Longview for Vivian M. Shaw, who born June 1, 1920, in Deadwood, S.D. Her maiden name was Gorton.
Her husband, Howard H., died in 1990.
Survivors include two sisters, Dorothy Shipman and Peggy Phipps, both of Tacoma; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Evergreen Staples Funeral Chapel is in charge of cremation.

June L. Simpson, a homemaker, born June 13, 1925, in Bernalillo, N.M. Her maiden name was Bookhamer.
She enjoyed traveling and needlework.
There will be no service. Evergreen Staples Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Blanche E. Arvidson
Sunnyside, Wash.
Former Clark County resident, Blanche E. Arvidson, born Oct. 9, 1916, in Vancouver. Mrs. Arvidson spent most of her time in Vancouver or at Seaview and Ocean Park.
She worked in merchandising.
Survivors include a son, Jim of Sunnyside; two grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in died at the Hopewell House Hospice Center in Portland on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2000.
Inurnment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens died in a Longview nursing home Friday, Nov. 10, 2000.
She was death by her husband, Samuel J., in 1967, and a daughter, Leslie L., who died in a Clackamas, Ore., hospital Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2000. She was 88.
Mrs. Gabbard worked as an licensed practical nurse at the old St. Joseph Community Hospital. She was school bus driver in Oregon and for the Ridgefield School District. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting and sewing.
Mrs. Gabbard was Cemetery.

Wyllis L. Johnson

A retired Battle Ground dentist, Wyllis L. Johnson, born Jan. 14, 1918, in Vancouver. He lived in Clark County all his life.
Survivors include one son, Steve of Amboy; one sister, Evelyn Munro of Portland; and one step-grandson.
Mr. Johnson, who retired in 1975, graduated from Battle Ground High School in 1936. He was also a graduate of Pacific University and the Northwest School of Dentistry.
An Army veteran of World War II, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and gardening.
There will be no service. Burial will be in Lewisville died Monday, Nov. 6, 2000, in Vancouver. She was 68.
Mrs. Owen was death by one daughter, Margaret L. Owen.
A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Castle Rock Women's Club building. The casket will be open from noon to 4 today and from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at Hubbard Funeral Home in Castle Rock.

Douglas K. Sexton

A funeral will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel for Douglas K. Sexton, 89, who born June 23, 1911, in Vancouver.
He was a dock foreman for Carnation Milk Co. in Portland from 1952 to 1970.
Survivors include his wife, Connie, at home; one daughter, Connie J. Frank of Portland; two sons, Steven of Vancouver and Michael of Seattle; and three grandchildren.
Mr. Sexton enjoyed gardening and traveling. He was a member of Fisher Grange and the Odd Fellows Lodge.
There will be a private burial.
