A service will begin at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel for Gaylon R. Hall, who born Nov. 26, 1939, in Hayti, Mo.
Survivors include his mother, Nova Rutherford of Kennett, Mo.; a daughter, Kathy Bowers of Vancouver; a son, Mark of Vancouver; one sister, Mary of Salinas, Calif.; six grandchildren; and his former wife, Marilyn Hall of Vancouver.
Mr. Hall, an Army veteran, was a member of Oxford Athletic Club. He enjoyed music, especially writing songs and playing his guitar.
The casket will be open until 9 tonight at the funeral home.

Takeo T. Matsuoka

Takeo Tom Matsuoka died in 1986.
Mr. Matsuoka was died Tuesday, March 13, 2001, in Tigard, Ore. She was 77.
Miss Brase was death by her brother, Ernest Brase, in 1999.
She is survived by a sister, Rose Borchers of Vancouver; and a brother, Emil Brase of Hood Canal, Wash.
A funeral will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church. The casket will be open from 1 to 5 p.m. Monday at Vancouver Funeral Chapel.
Jeannette T. Butsch

A Vancouver resident for the past 40 years, Jeannette T. Butsch born Feb. 22, 1902, in Langlois, Ore. Her maiden name was Thrift. She taught elementary school in the Vancouver area for many years and was devoted to her students.
She was preceded in Cemetery in Mount Angel, Ore. Hamilton-Mylan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Verne D. Hancock

A chef and baker who loved to entertain family and friends, Verne Dale Hancock born Nov. 21, 1940, in Camas, where he was raised. He lived in McMinnville, Ore., before moving to the Vancouver area 10 years ago.
He was a Boy Scout master for Troop 233 in McMinnville, Ore., in the late 1970s and early 1980s. He participated in theater and community events and was a member of the Moose Lodge in Vancouver.
Mr. Hancock was preceded in died Wednesday, March 14, 2001, at Rose Vista Nursing Center in Vancouver. She was 81.
Mrs. Hooper was death by her twin brother in 1980.
Survivors include her husband, Elmer, at home; a daughter, Mary Winslow of Vancouver; and four sons, John R. Enselman of Cupertino, Calif., David Enselman of Omaha, Neb., Elmer Hooper Jr. of Seattle and Jay Hooper of Moses Lake, Wash.
Burial will be next week at Willamette National died Wednesday, March 14, 2001, in Vancouver. He was 53.

A memorial service will start at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fern Prairie United Methodist Church in in Fern Prairie. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
