Thomas Watson Ellis Sr., 81, born Sept. 19, 1919, in Penola, Okla.
Survivors include his wife, Irene G., at home; two daughters, Rosemary Ellis of Portland and Marvel Erith of Lodi, Calif.; five sons, Thomas Ellis Jr. of Salem, Ore., John Ellis of Lakewood, Clarence Sauers of Fridley, Minn., Theodore Sauers of Mandan, N.D., and Curtis Sauers of Cordova, Alaska; three sisters, Grace Delong of Gladstone, Ore., and Nancy Harris and Francis Pettigrew, both of Portland; one brother, Marvin Boyd of Desert Springs, Calif.; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A service will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at Wilhelm Funeral Home in Portland.

Emily J. Engman

Emily J. Engman, a homemaker who lived in Clark County since November, born June 22, 1914, in Seattle.
Her first husband, Jess M. Starr, died in 1998. A daughter, Betty J. Pomeroy, died of cancer Saturday, March 17, 2001, in Vancouver. He was 71.
Mr. Garrigues, who lived in Vancouver the past year, was died Monday, March 19, 2001, in Vancouver. He was 72.
He is survived by his wife, Eileen, at home; two daughters, Sherry Lowe and Tamara Fraley, both of Vancouver; three sons, Larry of Yakima, Rudy of Bremerton, and Rod of Portland; two sisters, Betty Cooper of Edmonds and Laura Forgey of Sunnyside; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Harrel worked at the Hanford Nuclear Reservation for 20 years before moving to Clark County and working for the James River paper mill in Camas.
He enjoyed woodworking, bowling, the beach and traveling.
His life will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Friday at the home of his daughter, Tamara Fraley, 15812 N.E. 41st St.

A graveside service will begin at noon Friday at Evergreen Memorial Gardens died Tuesday, March 20, 2001, in Vancouver. He was 87.
Mr. Hartung, died March 17 in a Vancouver care center. There will be an open house from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at his home in Battle Ground.

Ingrid Kantas

Ingrid Kantas, who enjoyed knitting, arts and crafts, Cemetery in Portland.
Her husband, Harry J. Kantas, born Sept. 15, 1919, in Berlin, Germany, and lived in the Vancouver area the past 20 years.
She worked as a medical assistant.
Survivors include one daughter, Vivien Adkins of Washougal; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Meredith G. Larson

Meredith Gail Larson Born Nov. 28, 1945, in Vancouver, she lived in Vancouver most of her life.
She was a self-employed housekeeper.
Survivors include her mother, Betty Brooks of Vancouver; one daughter, Karin Larson of Vancouver; one sister, Melody Ott of Longview; two brothers, Robert Larson of Phoenix and Don Larson of Othello, Wash.; and two grandchildren.
Her body was cremated. A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sunbridge Care & Rehabilitation in Vancouver.
Faye M. Liljedahl

A homemaker and an avid golfer, Faye M. Liljedahl died in 1982, and a son, Dennis, born July 7, 1921, in Brookland, Ark., and lived in Vancouver since 1950. Her maiden name was Turner.
Survivors include two sons, John and Eric, both of Vancouver; two sisters, Marvin Goodnight of Grass Valley, Calif., and Imogene Wahn of Tigard, Ore.; and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at East Vancouver United Methodist Church. Private inurnment will be in Park Hill died of heart problems Monday, March 19, 2001, at home. He was 46.
Mr. Oser lived in Clark County for the past 21 years. He was died of liver disease Saturday, March 17, 2001, in Vancouver. He was 45.
Mr. Tran was a fisherman in Alaska and enjoyed photography and karaoke.
He was born March 13, 1956, in Kien, Giang, Vietnam, and lived in Vancouver since 1982.
Survivors include four daughters, Judy Geeslin, Anh Nguyen, Mai Nguyen and Linh Tran, all of Vancouver; two sons, Tinh Q. Tran and Ronnie Geeslin, both of Vancouver; three brothers, Tan of Seattle, and Liet and Xuan, both of Vancouver; and his special companion, Phung Tran of Vancouver.
