There will be a private service for Leon C. Nelson, who born March 8, 1942, in Burley, Idaho, and lived in Clark County for the past 14 years.
Retired from the Navy, Mr. Nelson last worked as a certified public accountant for the Government Services Administration.
Survivors included his mother, Joy Cook of Ridgefield; one sister, Dyanna Permia of Clatskanie, Ore.; and one brother, Michael Cook of Woodland.
Mr. Nelson enjoyed playing pool, reading and politics. He loved working on his computer and spending time on the Internet.

Jerome E. Quayle

A memorial service will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. John's Catholic Church for Jerome "Jerry" Elmer Quayle, who born May 10, 1935, in Neehah, Wis., and lived in Clark County the past 26 years.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Barbara, at home; one sister, Patricia Edmonson of Yukon, Okla.; and one brother, Michael of Plano, Texas.
Mr. Quayle was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War and the first Clark County fire marshal.
He was a member of the Southwest Washington Arms Collectors Association and enjoyed historical memorabilia relating to firearms.

Neal W. Reagan

A retired meat cutter who worked for Safeway grocery stores, Neal Wilson Reagan, 83, born Sept. 29, 1917, in Madison, Ga., and lived in Vancouver for 25 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Salmon Creek American Legion.
His wife, Lillian Marie, funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Vancouver Funeral Chapel, followed by burial in Northwood Park died Saturday, March 24, 2001. He was 89.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Alerta, at home; two daughters, Jeanette Stafford of Welches, Ore., and Diana Stafford of Vancouver; two brothers, John of Portland and Raleigh of Formosa, Kan.; two sisters, Doris Sorick of Oklahoma City, and Betty Thronsen of Eagle Creek, Ore.; one granddaughter; and one great-grandson.
Mr. Stafford worked as a mechanic for the state of Washington. He retired in 1975.
He was a member of a radio club in Vancouver and a volunteer for the Meals on Wheels program for seven years.
Mr. Stafford, a Navy veteran of World War II, enjoyed traveling, gardening and camping.
A service will begin at 3 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens died Saturday, March 24, 2001, in Vancouver. She was 84.
Mrs. Sumner, a retired teacher, enjoyed writing poetry and traveling throughout the world.

A long-haul truck driver who was a member of Teamsters Local 81 in Portland, Ronald R. "Ron" Bauer born May 6, 1942, in Beulah, N.D., and lived in Clark County for 29 years.
He was a member of the Hazel Dell Bowling League and the Eagles Lodge in Portland.
He enjoyed camping, dancing, traveling and bowling.
He was preceded in Cemetery.

There was a private service for Bobby Ray Carter Sr., who born Nov. 27, 1940, in Humboldt, Tenn., and had lived in Vancouver since 1995.
Survivors include his mother, Lida Carter of Tucson, Ariz.; two sons, Andy Carter of Tucson and Bobby Ray II of Vancouver; one sister, Betty McGee of Green Valley, Ariz.; and one grandchild.

Patricia A. Cook
Washougal
A funeral will begin at 11 a.m. today at Telford's Chapel of the Valley in East Wenatchee, Wash., for Patricia Anne Cook, who born June 21, 1941, in El Paso, Texas. She moved to Clark County in 1985 and lived in Washougal the past 12 years.
Mrs. Cook was an avid gardener and enjoyed the outdoors.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Roger, at home; her mother, Louise Abbott of La Jolla, Calif.; one daughter, Julie Pinasco of Snohomish, Wash.; one son, Roger Cook Jr. of Wenatchee; one brother, William Abbott of El Paso; one sister, Earl Abbott of Chicago; and three grandchildren.
Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park in Wenatchee.

Arlene B. Crouch

Arlene B. Crouch, who owned the Rim Rock Restaurant in north Portland, born May 11, 1924, in Centralia, Ill., and lived in Clark County for 28 years.
Her husband, Horace, died at home Sunday, March 25, 2001. She was 90.
A homemaker and Camas resident since 1943, Mrs. Egan enjoyed sketching and making her own greeting cards. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Mrs. Egan loved small animals and reading.
