Homer Arthur Wolfington, a home builder, born Sept. 4, 1933, in Oregon City. He lived in Vancouver for about 23 years before moving away and then returning four and a half years ago.
Survivors include his wife, Betty, at home; one daughter, Mary L. Brown of Palmdale, Calif.; one son, Stephen of Portland; two brothers, Dan of Seneca, Ore., and Mike of Lynnwood, Wash.; and two grandchildren.
Mr. Wolfington attended Salmon Creek United Methodist Church and was a member of the Heat and Frost Insulation Union, Local 36.
A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at Salmon Creek United Methodist Church. Davies Cremation and Burial Services is in charge of arrangements.

Former Vancouver resident Catherine M. "Cait" Curtin, a Portland native, businesswoman and history writer, death.
She was president and served on the board of Oregon Special Olympics from 1982 to 1989, and is listed in Who's Who of American Women.
On April 3, 1997, she died of cancer Sunday, March 25, 2001, at her daughter's home. She was 90.
Mrs. Whitworth was died in 1947.
She loved her home and being around her family.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandi Zozosky of Vancouver; two sons, Ted Whitworth of Vancouver and Neil Whitworth of Virginia; eight grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will begin at 3 p.m. today at Sifton Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Her body was cremated.
Lewis G. Jurgens

Lewis G. Jurgens, a Vancouver-area resident for 64 years, born March 4, 1936, in Salem, Ore.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Shirley C., at home; two daughters, Teresa Mings and Lisa Cartwright, both of Vancouver; one brother, Douglas of Vancouver; two sisters, Darlene Teters of Woodland and Sandra Schmaltz of Ridgefield; and five grandchildren.
Mr. Jurgens, a Navy veteran, was a member of the American Foundry Society and Sons of Norway.
He enjoyed golfing and genealogy.
A memorial service will begin at 12:30 p.m. Monday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel, with a private inurnment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens died Wednesday, March 28, 2001, at home of complications of diabetes. She was 56.

She attended Wy'east Middle School and Legacy Alternative High School in the Evergreen School District. Her mother was a registered nurse, and Whitney liked to accompany her to nursing homes where she helped assist with the patients.
Survivors include her mother, Julie Kaye Webb of Vancouver; her father, Larry Greene of Lapwai, Idaho; two brothers, Wesley and Deshea Webb, both of Vancouver; grandparents Lynn Pearl and Phil Webb, both of Salem, and June Greene of Lapwai; and great-grandparents Doris Morey and Amelia Webb, both of Salem.
A funeral will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Restlawn Funeral Home, 201 Oak Grove Road N.W., Salem, Ore. Burial will be private in Restlawn Memory Gardens.
