Former Vancouver resident Leah "LaVerne" Wheaton born June 2, 1914, in Portland. She lived in Clark County from 1925 through 1936.
She graduated from Vancouver High School in 1933. Mrs. Wheaton was an original member of the Hobby Club and a longtime member of First Christian Church in Vancouver.
Her husband, Harry J. Wheaton, died Friday, March 30, 2001, in Vancouver. She was 86.
Mrs. Bacharach was died in 1990.
Survivors include a daughter, Susan B. Johnson of Vancouver; a son, Moore Bacharach of Woodinville, Wash.; three sisters, Eleanor Price of DeKalb, Ill., Madeline Ritter of Gettysburg, Pa., and Mary Rust of Lafayette Hill, Pa.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A memorial Mass will start at 11 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vancouver. Private inurnment will be at the Vancouver Barracks Post died Sunday, April 1, 2001, in Washougal. He was 77.
Mr. Crawford was died Sunday, April 1, 2001, in Portland. She was 77.

Survivors include two sisters, Dolly and Alice; a brother, Bob Wells; her close friend, Melva Owings; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

During his 23-year career in the air force, Mr. Gilligan flew in the F-94, F-89, F-101 and C-130. He had been stationed across the United States with tours in Goose Bay, Labrador and Taiwan, where he flew missions into Vietnam. After his military career, he worked in real estate sales.
Mr. Gilligan was died Friday, March 30, 2001, at home. She was 86.
Mrs. Hampton was a homemaker and lived in Vancouver the past 55 years.
She was died in 1973, and her son, James L., in 1997.
Survivors include two sons, Johnnie L. and Willie L. Hampton, both of Vancouver; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The casket will be open from noon to 7 p.m. today at funeral home. Burial will follow in Park Hill died Saturday, March 31, 2001, in Greenacres, Wash. She was 76.

Mr. Keller was died Sunday, April 1, 2001, in St. Maries, Idaho. He was 88.
Mr. Malone was died in 1988.
Survivors include two sons, Steven Malone of Worley, Idaho, and Dennis Malone of Medford, Ore.; a brother, Jack Malone of California; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside funeral will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
