Louise Mariane Christiansen, who lived in Vancouver the past seven months, born May 12, 1915, in Dagmar, Mont. Her maiden name was Hansen.
A member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Portland, she donated many crocheted and needlework items to the yearly charity auction at the church. Mrs. Christiansen liked to travel with her husband, Harvey, in their motor home. They were died in 2000.
Survivors include many nieces and nephews.
A service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Rose City died Thursday, May 17, 2001, at Southwest Washington Medical Center. He was 90.
Mr. Harris, died Saturday, May 19, 2001, in Vancouver.
Mrs. Hartill was died in 1994.
A graveside service will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at Washougal Memorial died Friday, May 18, 2001, in Richland. She was 88.
Mrs. Humphreys owned Humphreys Dry Cleaning in Vancouver 30 years before retiring in 1973.
Her husband, Norman E. Humphreys, born April 29, 1913, in Camas. Her maiden name was Guffnett. Mrs. Humphreys lived in Richland the past eight years.
Survivors include one daughter, Betty Howard of Emmett, Idaho; one son, Larry of Richland; two sisters, Dee Evans of Albany, Ore., and Ethel Lawhead of Vancouver; two brothers, Leo Guffnett of Sacramento, Calif., and Bob Guffnett of Vancouver; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Humphreys enjoyed sewing, crossword puzzles, watching baseball and playing the organ.
A private burial will be in Brush Prairie died Saturday, May 19, 2001, in a Clackamas, Ore., hospital. She was 75.
She earned her master's degree in teaching from the University of Portland.
Mrs. Long enjoyed golf, bowling, playing bunco, walking and reading. She liked spending time at Lake Merwin Camper's Hideaway.
She was died March 29, 2001, at Southwest Washington Medical Center. She was 67.
Mrs. Majesky was died Friday, May 18, 2001, in Vancouver. He was 94.
Mr. Michel was a journeyman electrician at the old Crown Zellerbach paper mill in Camas. He retired after 47 years.
He was death, Rebecca Pollard in 1982 and Scott Little in 1984.
Survivors include his wife, Gaye A., at home; four daughters, Norma Lange of Yreka, Calif., June Fiock of Ashland, Ore., Shirley Little of Washougal and Janet Lessing of Arlington, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Mr. Michel loved to hunt, fish and was an avid reader. He was a member of Loyal Order of the Moose 1042 and had been a past governor and pilgrim.
He also made grandfather clocks.
The casket will be open from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 8 p.m. today and 9 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas. A funeral will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Camas died Saturday, May 19, 2001, at home of respiratory failure.
A 30-year survivor of breast cancer, Mrs. Thornton was 73.
She was died Friday, May 18, 2001, at home. He was 87.
Mr. Wiger owned a Texaco station in the St. Johns area for 30 years before retiring in 1985. He was death by a son, Ron Wiger, and a daughter, Patty Raschke.
Survivors include his wife, Esther at home; one son, Roger of Vancouver; two sisters, Mildred McSparrow and Grace Porter, both of North Dakota; one brother, Willis of North Dakota; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Mr. Wiger enjoyed fishing, playing cards and watching sports, especially the Portland Trail Blazers.
A funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church.
The casket will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at the Vancouver Funeral Chapel.

Former Vancouver resident Ann L. Ablin, a homemaker, born Dec. 19, 1942, in Minnetonka, Minn., and lived in the Vancouver area most of her life.
Survivors include her mother, Elaine Odegard of Vancouver; one daughter, Kristiann Hilbert of Vancouver; two sons, Steven and Mark, both of Vancouver; and one brother, Darryl Odegard of Vancouver.
A celebration of life service will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. Entombment will be private.
