Charles William Bussart, who lived in the area the past 17 years, born March 12, 1934, in Minneapolis, Kan.
He is survived by his wife, Betty, at home; two daughters, Kathy Baglo of Jamestown, Kan., and Michelle Bussart of Ridgefield; one son, Tony of Ridgefield; one stepson, Robert Blake of St. Joseph, Mo.; two sisters, Ernestine Malek of Lorain, Ohio, and Mary Jo Bussart of Abilene, Kan.; one brother, Leon of Wamego, Kan.; and five grandchildren.
Mr. Bussart was an Army veteran and a member of Salmon Creek American Legion. A Methodist who loved his dog, Cuddles, he also liked fishing and hunting.
His body will be cremated. A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bethel Church, 2309 N.W. Carty Road, Ridgefield. There will also be a service in Kansas later. Davies Cremation and Burial Services is in charge of arrangements.

Ethel Irene Fejes born April 23, 1911, in Ellensburg, Wash. She lived in the area 32 years.
A son, Gilbert Parker, died Friday, Jan. 10, 2003, in Vancouver. She was 65.
Mrs. Jack, a bookkeeper, enjoyed reading, Bible studies, bird watching and church activities.
She was died of breast cancer Friday, Jan. 10, 2003, in Vancouver. She was 63.
Mrs. Johnston was a loan officer for US Bancorp for more than 20 years before retiring in the early 1990s.
She was died Sunday, Jan. 12, 2003, in Vancouver. She was 87.
Mrs. Lakeness worked in the shipyards during World War II and at Weyerhaeuser for 25 years before retiring in 1977.
She enjoyed traveling, dancing, clam digging and playing pinochle.
Mrs. Lakeness was death by three husbands, Ralph Hunsucker, George Murphy and Harry Lakeness, a grandson and a great-granddaughter.
Survivors include one daughter, Sandra Hardy of Skamania; two stepdaughters, Carolyn Mikkleburg of Poulsbo, Wash., and Pat Oinger of Republic, Wash.; two sons, Douglas Hunsucker of Vancouver and Harvey Hunsucker of Clatskanie, Ore.; one sister, Marie Engle of Vancouver; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Lechtenberg was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, and enjoyed traveling, gardening, fishing and clamming.
Recitation of the rosary will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. James Acres. Hamilton-Mylan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
