Tracy L. Walker

A commercial cook who worked in the food service department at Larch Mountain Corrections Camp for the past 18 years, Tracy Lee Walker, 60, born Aug. 19, 1941, in Livingston, Mont., and lived in Vancouver for 50 years. A member of Smith-Reynolds American Legion Post 14 and 40 et 8, Mr. Walker served as a paratrooper in the U.S. Army and as a U.S. Navy Rescue Squadron diver in Vietnam.
Survivors include one daughter, Heidi Bolding of Vancouver; his mother, Sylvia B. Jolin of Vancouver; and one sister, Wilma L. Raines of Vancouver.
A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Vancouver Funeral Chapel. His body will be cremated and the ashes inurned in Northwood Park died of heart problems Saturday, Sept. 8, 2001, in a Portland hospital. He was 63.
Mr. Anthony was died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2001, in Vancouver. He was 90.
Mr. Hill was a charter member of Battle Ground Elks Lodge and a member of Clark County Channel Breakers. He had been a member of the United Finnish Kalev Brothers and Sisters Lodge since 1952.
Mr. Hill enjoyed hiking, walking, hunting and traveling, especially to Alaska and the Scandinavian countries.
A logger and farmer, he was Cemetery.
Emily R. Jones
Yacolt
Emily Augusta Jones, former mayor of Yacolt, born Aug. 25, 1904, in Los Angeles. She lived the past 27 years in Yacolt. Her maiden name was Odell.
Survivors include one stepdaughter, Wilma Sauer of Brea, Calif.; one stepson, Donald Jones of Yacolt; five grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and 10 step-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Jones graduated from San Francisco State College in 1959 with a teaching degree. She later received a master's degree in education at the University of Southern California.
She was a past president of Portland Council of Toastmistress Clubs and a past president of the Hawthorne Business and Professional Women's Club, Hawthorne Democratic Club and Hawthorne Elementary Teachers Association, all in California. Mrs. Jones was a member of Eastern Star, White Shrine and American Association of University Women.
She was listed in Who's Who in American Politics in 1969-70 and Who's Who of American Women with World Notables in 1970-1971.
There will be no service. Private inurnment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens died of pneumonia Thursday, Sept. 6, 2001, in a local care center. She was 101.
She was died in 1987.
Her son, Fred, died in 1974.
Survivors include two daughters, Viola Crawford of Vancouver and Marian Hatch of Ladera Ranch, Calif.; two sons, Harvey Jr. of Oceanside, Calif., and William "Bill" of Corona, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at East Vancouver United Methodist Church. Davies Cremation and Burial Services is in charge of arrangements.

Rodney H. Taskey
Vancouver
A longtime Vancouver resident, Rodney Harrison Taskey, born Nov. 21, 1950, in Longview.
He graduated from Columbia River High School in 1969, and attended the University of Washington, majoring in architecture.
Survivors include his wife, Jan Taylor-Taskey, at home; his parents, Mayvis and Maurice Taskey of Vancouver; one sister, Jan Birkhimer of Kennewick; and two brothers, Mike of Vancouver and Joe of Vashon Island, Wash.
There will be an open house to celebrate his life from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22 at the family home.

A Clark County resident since 1978, Robert J. Williams, born Aug. 28, 1937, in Portland.
He was an Air Force veteran and loved fishing and camping.
A service will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Willamette National died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2001, in Vancouver. He was 70.
Mr. Brooks was death.
Survivors include wife, Karan, at home; his mother, Olive Wickoren of West Fargo, N.D.; two daughters, Kim Martin of Woodinville, Wash., and Tracy Brooks of Vancouver; one son, Kyle of Woodland; two sisters, Bonnie McKinley of Corona, Calif., and Carol Mitton of Bellevue, Wash.; one brother, Duane of Auburn, Wash.; and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at Crossroads Community Church. There will be a private burial in Willamette National died Monday, Sept. 10, 2001, in a Portland hospital after his motorcycle crashed Sunday evening near Amboy.
He was died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2001, in Vancouver. He was 95.
Mr. Cash was died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2001, in Portland. He was 64.
