A service will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Frank Abel died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2001, at home in Woodland. She was 89.
Mrs. Gibson was died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2001, in Vancouver. He was 90.
Mr. Hill was a charter member of Battle Ground Elks Lodge and a member of Clark County Channel Breakers.
He had been a member of the United Finnish Kalev Brothers and Sisters Lodge since 1952.
Mr. Hill enjoyed hiking, walking, hunting and traveling, especially to Alaska and Scandinavian countries.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Alma, at home; and one daughter, Linda Ownby of Vancouver.
A logger and farmer, Mr. Hill was Cemetery.
Michael D. Hunter

Michael Dewaine Hunter, a carpenter who lived in Vancouver for the past six months, born Dec. 12, 1950, in Tulare, Calif. He lived in Sandy before moving to Vancouver.
There will be no service. Davies Cremation and Burial Services is in charge of arrangements.
Raymond E. Martin

A Vancouver High School graduate, Raymond E. Martin, born Feb. 10, 1919, in Jefferson, Mo., and lived in Vancouver for 72 years.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Lois Warren of Vancouver.
There will be a private inurnment in Willamette National died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2001, in Vancouver. He was 86.
Mr. Miller was Cemetery. Straub's Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of arrangements.
Sylvia E. Ruehlman

Sylvia E. Ruehlman, a homemaker who moved to Vancouver three months ago, died in 1996.

Willa R. Shervey

A graveside service will begin at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Evergreen Memorial Gardens died at home Saturday, Sept. 8, 2001. She was 84.
Mrs. Shervey was a media specialist for Clark College for 16 years.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Virgil "Andy" D. Shervey Sr., at home; one daughter, Susan Dishaw of Portland; four sons, Gary Smith of Corbett, Ore., Alan Smith of Bly, Ore., Dale Smith of La Center and Merlyn Shervey of Vancouver; one half sister, Opal Ethel of Sublimity, Ore.; eight grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Shervey was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church and was active in the church's efforts to feed the homeless. She loved to travel and had visited 49 states, Canada, Mexico and Europe.
A memorial service will begin at 3 p.m. Thursday at St. Andrew Lutheran Church. The casket will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel.

A service for Robert J. Williams, who died Monday, Sept. 10, 2001, at home. He was 78.
Mr. Collett, a graduate of Camas High School, worked at the Crown Zellerbach paper mill for 42 years.
He was died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2001, in a Las Vegas hospital. He was 68.
Mr. Fairchild was a tower operator for the railroad in Portland.
He was Cemetery.

A homemaker who lived in Clark County for the past seven years, Vema G. Hanson died in 1997.
Survivors include two sons, Eugene E. Hanson of Moses Lake and Carl H. Hanson of Albany, Ore.; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
