He is survived by his father, Dale Miller of Yakima; two sons, Nathaniel Miller of Bellingham and Jeremiah Miller of Olympia; three brothers, John Miller of Gig Harbor, Daniel Miller of Yakima and Curtis Miller of Vancouver.
A celebration of life ceremony will start at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Unity Church of Vancouver. Evergreen Staples Funeral Chapel is in charge of cremation.

Betty H. Whetzel
Washougal
A Washougal resident for 37 years, Betty H. Whetzel born Nov. 25, 1913, in Absaracka, N.D. Her maiden name was Crowell.
She was retired from working at the Highland Nursing Home in Camas and was well loved by all her neighbors.
She was preceded in died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2001, in Vancouver. He was 67.
Mr. Bangs was death by his daughter, Janet Bangs, in 1968.
Mr. Bangs is survived by his wife, Helen Bangs of Vancouver; three daughters, Barbara Bangs of Aliso Viejo, Calif., Diane Bangs of Lakewood, Calif., and Elizabeth Landrigan of Woodland, Wash.; a sister, Beverly Ryan of Minneapolis; and a granddaughter.
A graveside service will begin at noon Monday at Willamette National died of cancer Monday, Sept. 17, 2001, at home in Vancouver. She was 58.
Mrs. Blake was died in 1993.
Survivors include two daughters, Sonja Sauer of Dallas and Cheryl Penticoff of Vancouver; two sons, Jeff and Ted Blake, both of Vancouver; a brother, Mike Shean; her grandmother, Hazel Stein of Vancouver; her special friend, Pete Kelly of Vancouver; six grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Disposition was by cremation. A memorial service will begin at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel.

Telitha M. Egbert
Battle Ground
A homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her family, Telitha "Peggy" May Egbert born Sept. 21, 1900, in Skamokawa, Wash. A longtime resident of Woodland, she moved to Ridgefield in 1993. She became a resident of Meadow Glade Care Center in Battle Ground in 1997.
Mrs. Egbert was a member of Pythian Sisters and was active in the Grange and Masonic organizations. She was also a seamstress and did alterations. Mrs. Egbert enjoyed painting, decorating, dancing, working with flowers and horseback riding. She once had two antiques stores.
She was preceded in Cemetery in Vancouver.
Eugene V. England
Woodland
A veteran of the U.S. Navy who enjoyed fishing, reading and the Bible, Eugene Vernet England born Sept. 29, 1942, in Seattle. Hed lived in the Ridgefield, Vancouver and Battle Ground areas for 37 years. He just recently moved to Woodland.
Mr. England worked for Great Western Malting for more than 30 years.
He is survived by three daughters, Karrie Baker and Kellie Swingler, both of Woodland, and Kandi DelosSantos of New Jersey; two sons, Robert England of Woodland and Steven England of Alaska; two sisters, Mary Johnson and Arkie Fine, both of Portland; two brothers, Hap and John Miller, both of Portland; his fiancee, Gail Platt of Woodland; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The casket will be open from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Evergreen Memorial Gardens died Friday, Sept. 21, 2001, at home in Brush Prairie.
Mr. Johnson was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He also retired from the U.S. Forest Service after 30 years as a forester in Oregon and Washington, D.C.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman and member of St. John's Catholic Church.
Mr. Johnson was death by his son, Timothy Johnson.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Louise Johnson, at home in Brush Prairie; a daughter, Margaret Wilson of Boring, Ore.; three sons, William J. Johnson of Vancouver, Robert Johnson of Battle Ground and Daniel Johnson of Chevy Chase, Md.; a sister, Parricia VonBorstel of Grass Valley, Ore.; two brothers, Donald Johnson of Blairsville, Pa., and James Johnson of Portage, Pa.; and eight grandchildren.
A memorial service will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. Disposition will be by cremation.

Kenneth B. Liedtke
Vancouver
Kenneth Berkley Liedtke, 86, born Feb. 11, 1915, in Benedict, Neb. He farmed in Waco, Neb., for five years before moving his family to Vancouver shortly after World War II. He worked as an electrician for Alcoa for 18 years and played softball and baseball for the Alcoa teams.
In 1960, Mr. Liedtke and his wife bought and operated Carlton True Value Hardware in Carlton, Ore. He worked there until he retired in 1985.
Mr. Liedtke was a member of the First Baptist Church in Carlton, where he sang in the choir and was a deacon and trustee. He also was active in the Lions Club and Gideons and was a volunteer fireman.
He enjoyed playing volleyball with church members, playing horseshoes, bowling, gardening and visiting with family. He is remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and a handyman.
Survivors include his wife since 1936, Helen Liedtke of Vancouver; four sons, Gary, Ralph and Richard Liedtke, all of Vancouver, and James Liedtke of Monmouth, Ore.; 17 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
The casket will be open from noon to 5 p.m. today at Macy & Son Funeral Chapel in McMinnville, Ore. A remembrance service will begin at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Private died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2001, in Vancouver.
Mr. McConnaughey served in the Merchant Marine during World War II. He worked for 15 years at Sears before he retired in 1971.
Mr. McConnaughey was a musician who enjoyed playing his saxophone. He had his own band for 15 years in Yuma, Ariz.
His hobbies included music, gardening and traveling. He is remembered as a handyman at heart.
Mr. McConnaughey was died of emphysema Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2001, in Vancouver. He was 71.
