Longtime Clark County resident, Melvin L. Kersey, born Sept. 21, 1929, in Oak Park, Ga., and moved to Vancouver in the late1970s.
He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of a Masonic Lodge in Fairbanks, Alaska.
He enjoyed fishing, boating and traveling.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Hannchen, at home, one daughter, Karin Casula of Vancouver; one sister, Nicky Hayes of Augusta, Ga.; two brothers, Ralph of Florida and John of Louisiana; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
His body will be cremated. There will be no service. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens died Dec. 31, 2002, while visiting in Pleasantview, Utah. He was 82.
Mr. Kenworthy, a machinist, was died Friday, Jan. 4, 2002, in Portland. She was 77.
Mrs. LeMaster, a food service dietician, was Cemetery in Portland.
Her husband, Harvey, died Dec. 20 in Vancouver.
Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Virginia C. Rickel

Former Vancouver resident Virginia C. Rickel born Sept. 14, 1919, in Portland. She lived in Vancouver from the late 1940s to the 1950s and again in the 1990s. Mrs. Rickel moved to Spokane three years ago. Her maiden name was Butler.
She was a homemaker and loved sports of all kinds.
Her husband, Ray S., funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. today at Vancouver Funeral Chapel, followed by burial in Park Hill died at home Friday, Jan. 4, 2002, at home. He was 61.
Mr. Warner retired in 1993 as a supervisor for Clark Public Utility District.
He was Cemetery in Ridgefield.

Donald A. Wills
Washougal
A lifetime resident of Washougal who retired from Fort James Corp., where he had worked as a mule driver in the beater room, Donald A. Wills, 62, born March 12, 1939, in Camas. He retired as a staff sergeant in the Army Reserves and was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church in Camas. He also was a member of Silver Star Search and Rescue, Washougal Grange and Knights of Pythias. He enjoyed working with Special Olympics, camping, hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his mother, Georgiana Wills of Washougal; five sisters, Sharon Mack of Brush Prairie, Helen Alt of Vancouver, Katie Wills and Carol Wills, both of Washougal, and Ethel Wills of Spanaway, Wash.
A graveside service will begin at 10:15 a.m. today at Washougal Memorial died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2002, in Vancouver. She was 92.
Her first husband, Everett Wooldridge, died in January 2001. A son, David Wooldridge, also preceded her in born Sept. 1, 1909, in Waterloo, Iowa. She lived in Camas the past 80 years. Her maiden name was Stebbins.
Survivors include one daughter, Hazel McClellan of Vancouver; one son, Bruce Wooldridge of Eugene; 15 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Anderson was a member of Camas Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed making quilts, sewing and painting. She loved her cat, Tommy.
Burial was in Camas died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2002, in Yacolt. He was 88.
Mr. Bowser was died Monday, Jan. 7, 2002, in a local foster care home.
She worked as a bookkeeper for a trucking company.
Her husband, Donald B., born Nov. 20, 1918, in Arma, Kan., and lived in Clark County the past six years. Her maiden name was Bridges.
Survivors include one daughter, Lorrie S. Bridges of Vancouver; three sons, Donald B. of Los Gatos, Calif., David J. of Sangus, Calif., and Robert P. of Campbell, Calif.; one sister, Pat Yeoman of San Antonio, Texas; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be later in San Jose, Calif. Vancouver Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
