Donald A. Butz

Former Vancouver resident Donald Allen Butz born Aug. 4, 1961, in Whitefish, Mont., lived in Clark County before moving to Winlock.
He was a restaurant cook.
Survivors include his wife, Melissa, at home; his parents, Dorothy and Glen Butz of Lewistown, Mont.; one daughter, Paula, at home; one son, Randy, at home; one sister, Sally Jo Hernandez of Vancouver; and five brothers, Timothy of Townsend, Mont., Glen and Gerald, both of Sheridan, Wyo., Zachary of Winlock and Matthew of Lewistown.
Mr. Butz was a member of Old Apostolic Lutheran Church in Brush Prairie. He enjoyed raising livestock, fishing, hunting and the outdoors.
A funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Elim Cemetery. Mr. Kersey, 72, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2002, in Vancouver. She was 80.
Mrs. Ludolph was Cemetery, followed by a 1 p.m. memorial service at the church.

Winnifred M. Majors
Woodland
Winnifred M. Majors, 90, a Woodland resident since 1972, death by her husband, John, in 1973.
Survivors include one daughter, JoAnn Aberle of Woodland; one son, Joe of Beaverton; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
The casket will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at Steele Chapel in Longview. A funeral will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday at Steele Chapel, with burial in Longview Memorial Park.
Phillip C. Warner
Ridgefield
Phillip C. Warner, who loved camping, born Nov. 29, 1940, in Vancouver and lived in Clark County all his life.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara E., at home; his mother, Vida Warner of Vancouver; one daughter, Kimberly Barr of Battle Ground; two sons, Bradley of Vancouver and Steven of Battle Ground; two sisters, Dorothy McChesney and Lois Tomlinson, both of Vancouver; two brothers, Gary and Larry, both of Vancouver; and eight grandchildren.
Mr. Warner was a member of Elks Lodge 1482 in Longview.
The casket will be open from noon to 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Vancouver Funeral Chapel. A funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Heights Church. Burial will be in Northwood Park Cemetery for Frances M. Westnedge, who death by her husband.
Mrs. Westnedge was died Dec. 27, 2001, in Long Beach. She was 88.
Mrs. Zurek enjoyed gardening and lawn care. She liked knitting, reading and listening to music and singing.
She was died in 1985, and a daughter, Rosemarie Sperling, Cemetery in Amboy.
Florence L. Bryant
Vancouver
Florence Lorene Bryant, 83, died in 1978.
Mrs. Bryant was died Monday, Jan. 7, 2002. He was 67.
Mr. Grosvenor was born July 29, 1962, in Vancouver.
Survivors include his mother, Norma Harrison of Vancouver; one son, Matthew; one sister, Donna Landon of La Center; and two brothers, Randy of Vancouver and Leon of Washougal.
He enjoyed working on cars and gardening.
A funeral will begin at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel, followed by private burial.
Walter W. Marchbank
Sutherlin, Ore.
Former Clark County resident Walter Wyatt "Wally" Marchbank born April 30, 1925, in Fort William, Ontario. He moved to Sutherlin in 1990.
An Army veteran of World War II, he was a newspaper man. Mr. Marchbank worked for many years at newspapers in Montreal and Quebec City, Canada, the Louisville Times in Kentucky, The Oregonian and The Columbian.
He enjoyed traveling full time in his RV, playing golf and fly-fishing. He was a member of the Roseburg Country Club and the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Vada, at home; two daughters, Mary K. Marchbank of Houston and Lynn F. Bennett of Camas; three sons, John B. of Vancouver, Charles S. of Portland and David W. of Long Island, N.Y.
There will be a private service. His body was cremated. Chapel of the Firs in Sutherlin was in charge of arrangements.
