A funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel for Robert O. Barnes, who born April 18, 1916, in Glenwood, Wash., and lived in the Vancouver area since 1975.
Survivors include his wife, Faye, at home; three daughers, Kathleen Barnes and Gwen Lembke, both of Vancouver, and Mary Fletcher of Brush Prairie; three sons, Ronald L. of Vancouver, Stephen R. of Salem, Ore., and Kenneth S. Barnes-Hylton of Victoria, B.C.; two sisters, Claudia Boyse and Lola Tupper, both of Portland; one brother, Duane of Depoe Bay, Ore.; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Blanche Bennett, 98, born Oct. 20, 1903, in Arago, Ore. She lived in Vancouver the past nine years. Her maiden name was Morey.

Neil R. Brigham

A retired equipment operator, Neil Raymond Brigham, born Dec. 29, 1942, in Tacoma and lived in Clark County since 1962.
Mr. Brigham, a Coast Guard veteran, attended Clark College and earned a degree from Portland State University.
He was an artist member of the Portland Art Museum and a member of the Electrical Workers Union, Local 125. He was an avid fisherman who also enjoyed hunting.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanine, at home; two stepdaughters, Sherry Knott of Vancouver and Debby Harteloo of Ariel; two sons, Erik and Troy, both of Vancouver; one stepson, Cory Knott of Amboy; one sister, Ann Watson of Seattle; one brother, Paul of Bothell, Wash.; and nine grandchildren.
A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Layne's Funeral Home in Battle Ground. Davies Cremation and Burial will be in charge of arrangements.

A funeral will begin at 11 a.m. today at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas for Gwendoline "Gwen" Alberta Burns, who born March 31, 1905, in Matoon, Ill. Her maiden name was Caylor.
Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Fisher of Camas; one son, Hugh Thompson of Mexico; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Washougal Memorial died at home Friday, Jan. 11, 2002, of a ruptured aneurysm. She was 45.

Carson Alexander Ellingson, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2002, in a Portland hospital.
A graveside service will begin at noon today at Evergreen Memorial Gardens died in 1994.
Other survivors include one sister, Halle, at home; five brothers, Justin, Tannyr, Codie, Hunter and Zachary, all at home; grandparents, Sandra and Paul Fordyce of Sheridan, Wyo., Mollie and Marven Ellingson of Brush Prairie and Laura Erie of Vancouver; and great-grandparents, Ruth and Jim Roberts of Chamberlain, S.D., and Austa Erie of Vancouver.
Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Caney A. Shuford

Caney "Joe" A. Shuford born Nov. 4, 1921, in Yancy County, N.C. He lived in Washougal for 43 years before moving to the care center.
He was an Army and Air Force veteran of World War II.
He retired from the old Crown Zellerbach paper mill in 1984.
Mr. Shuford enjoyed fishing and woodworking.
Survivors include his wife, Letishia, at home; one daughter, Peggy Dowell of Washougal; three brothers, Eldon and Victor, both of North Carolina, and Raymond Murphy of Tennessee; one sister, Myrtle Johnson of North Carolina; one grandson and two great-grandchildren.
There will be no service.

Illa M. Small

A former Ridgefield resident, Illa M. Small, born Aug. 29, 1911, in Wilder, Idaho. Mrs. Small lived in Ridgefield for 30 years before returning to Idaho to be near family.
She loved collecting cookbooks, recipes and Scandinavian and Oriental collectibles. Mrs. Small was an avid reader.
Survivors include two sons, Steve of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Tim of Campbell, Calif.; two sisters, Ada McIntyre of Greenleaf, Idaho, and Gladys Smith of Boise, Idaho; and three grandchildren.
Her husband, William T., Cemetery in Ridgefield.

Floyd A. Spencer
Vancouver
Floyd A. Spencer, a safety engineer, born Aug. 3, 1918, in Los Angeles. He lived in the Vancouver area for the past 16 years.
He worked for Royal Globe Insurance Co. for 30 years before retiring in 1986.
Mr. Spencer was a member of Hillcrest Church of the Nazarene and a former member of Faith Baptist Church. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and enjoyed surf fishing and music.
Survivors include four daughters, Nancy Wickstrom, Elizabeth Peterson and Linda Peterson, all of Vancouver, and Joan Peterson-Geier of Littleton, Colo.; one brother, John Spencer of Folsom, Calif.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
His wife of 61 years, Doris, Cemetery.
