Charles R. Woolums
Skamania
A retired Navy commander, Charles "Pat" Russell Woolums, born July 21, 1921, in Los Angeles and lived in Skamania for 27 years.
Mr. Woolums was a graduate of the Naval Academy, a jet pilot and a meteorologist.
He was also a math teacher in The Dalles, Ore.
Mr. Woolums was a member of the Retired Officers Association, Columbia River Chapter.
Survivors include his wife, Mary "Miki" E., at home; and son, Charles S. of Hood River, Ore.
There will be no service. Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Robert G. Bump
Vancouver
Robert G. Bump, an orthopedic surgeon who was in medical practice in Vancouver for the past 31 years, born July 8, 1929, in Buffalo, N.Y.
Survivors include his wife, Ann, at home; one daughter, Judy Harris of Chehalis; two sons, Stephen of La Grande, Ore., and Peter of Traverse City, Mich.; one sister, Janet Mooney of Mequon, Wis.; one brother, Richard A. of New York City; and nine grandchildren.
Dr. Bump was a member of Southwest Washington Hospitals board of trustees from 1976 to 1982 and president of the hospital medical staff in 1976. He was a member of the Washington Medical Association, Clark County Medical Society and the Washington Orthopedic Association. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam and Korean wars.
His body will be cremated. There will be a gathering at his home at noon today. Vancouver Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Evelyn Chisholm
Bellevue
Former Vancouver resident Evelyn Chisholm born Sept. 23, 1916, in Seattle. She moved to Vancouver in 1961 and to the Bellevue area in 1999.
She worked as a secretary at Clark College in several departments. She was also a travel agent at AAA of Oregon and Sun Time Travel in Vancouver.
Her husband of 48 years, Harry, died of cancer Saturday, Jan. 12, 2002, at home. He was 59.
A memorial service will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday in the chapel at the Vancouver Division of the Portland Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Mr. Givens was died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2002, in Vancouver. He was 90.
Mr. Greiner worked 26 years at Douglas Aircraft and Northrup, retiring in the early 1970s.
He was a member and deacon of Columbia Presbyterian Church. He was also a long-time member of Southwest Washington Medical Center Auxiliary. Mr. Greiner enjoyed fixing things and traveling.
He was died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2002, in a Vancouver care center.
She was death.
Survivors include one daughter, Maria Enriquez of Portland; two sons, Eric of Vancouver and Mark of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.
A service will begin at 2 p.m. Monday at Caldwell's Colonial Chapel in Portland.
Forest A. Roe
Camas
A Clark County area resident for the past 20 years, Forest Abraham Roe Born Dec. 14, 1912, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, Mr. Roe was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II. He attended business school in Seattle and retired from the Seattle Police Department in 1966 as head of the Seattle court unit.
Mr. Roe spent winters in Arizona and made many trips to Europe and Russia. He also traveled for many years in his motor home.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred, of Vancouver; two sons, Gary of Canada and Neil of Seattle; one stepson, Jess Frost of Vancouver; one stepdaughter, Pat Forgey of Camas; one brother, Virgil; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
There will be no service. His body was cremated, and his ashes will be inurned at Evergreen Washelli Columbarium in Seattle. Straub's Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of arrangements.
Thomas B. Correy
Vancouver
An electrical engineer who was recognized for inventing the square weave welding process, Thomas B. Correy, 92, born Jan. 4, 1910, in Union, Ore. He graduated from Benson High School in Portland and Oregon State University, and worked for General Electric and Battelle Northwest, both in Richland.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Berle of Vancouver; three sons, James Thomas of Battle Ground, Jean "Gene" Neal of Gig Harbor and Timothy Robert of Lexington, Ky.; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
There will be no service. Layne's Funeral Home in Battle Ground is in charge of arrangements.

A homemaker who moved to Clark County one year ago from Portland, Grace E. Dual, 71, born Dec. 13, 1931, in Springfield, Mo. Her maiden name was Leggett.
Her husband, Charles, Cemetery in Portland.

Wanda L. Gebhart

A memorial service will be begin at 3 p.m. Thursday at The Waterford at Fairway Village for Wanda L. Gebhart, 84, who Cemetery for Edith Mae Maas, 72, who born March 5, 1929, in Hyde Park, Mass., and lived in Vancouver for 52 years.
She was retired from the state School for the Deaf, where she was office manager for 30 years.
Her maiden name was Feist.
An avid golfer, she was a member of Orchard Hills Country Club in Washougal. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Matt, at home; one daughter, Nancy Dobler of Vancouver; one son, Doug Maas of Vancouver; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
