G. Eugene Shulsen

A retired pharmacist and former drug and alcohol physiology teacher at Clark College, G. Eugene Shulsen, 65, born Jan. 28, 1936, in Wendell, Idaho, and moved to Vancouver in 1966. He graduated from Idaho State University in 1959, and was a member of Phi Betta Kappa and Phi Kappa Tau. He owned and operated Gene's Kauffman Drugs for six years and was a member of Portneuf Masonic Lodge 18 in Pocatello, Idaho.
He enjoyed music and played the piano. He once performed for President Harry Truman with Scatman Cruthers.
His companion, Vincent Terialiess, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2002, at his home in Ridgefield.
Mr. Wilson was died Monday, Jan. 28, 2002, in Vancouver. He was 85.
He worked at Alcoa for about 40 years.
Mr. Anderson was died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002, in a local foster home. She was 96.
Mrs. Barney was died in 1994.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Holden of Vancouver and Eileen Riddle of Mississippi; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Barney enjoyed the outdoors, camping, gardening, cooking and reading.
There will be no service. Davies Cremation and Burial Services was in charge of arrangements.
Edward N. Bredemeyer
Longview
Edward Neil Bredemeyer, who was a deputy with the Clark County Sheriff's Office, born Nov. 14, 1915, in Ballard, Wash.
Survivors include his wife, Grace, at home; two sons, Frederich of Longview and Raymond of Boring, Ore.; one sister, Eleanor Stuestall of Arlington, Wash.; five grandchildren; and twin step-granddaughters.
Mr. Bredemeyer enjoyed woodworking, repairing clocks and old furniture. He loved salmon fishing from a boat in the North Fork of the Lewis River.
A Navy veteran of World War II, he was a member of Disabled American Veterans, Kalama Lodge 17 and AARP.
There will be no service. Inurnment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens died Jan. 25, 2002, at Southwest Washington Medical Center. He was 82.
He worked as an apartment manager and owned a liquor store, both in California.
Mr. Cheney, a Navy veteran, enjoyed reading, bird watching and loved business management.
He was died at home Friday, Jan. 25, 2002, after a brief illness. She was 37.
She was a waitress.
Mrs. Exton-Alexandroff was died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2002, in Gates, Ore. He was 53.
Two sons preceded him in born Oct. 20, 1948, in Richland, Wash. He lived in Ridgefield from 1994 to 2000.
He was a long-haul truck driver and mechanic.
Survivors include his parents, Marilyn and Elmo Finley of Vancouver; one daughter, Jessica Finley of Ridgefield; one son, Stephen Jr. of Gates; two sisters, Joanna Burns-Miller of Portland and Diane F. Moore of Vancouver; one brother, Michael P. of Portland; and two grandsons.
Mr. Finley enjoyed cars, drag racing, computer graphics and birds.
A funeral will begin at 12:30 p.m. today at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. Private burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens died at home Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002. He was 82.
He started farming in Gresham, Ore., before buying his parents' farm in Clark County. Mr. Lindeman raised many varieties of berries and only recently limited production to raspberries.

He was a papermaker for Boise Cascade Co. from 1950 to 1986.
Mr. McAllister was died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002, at Evergreen Assisted Living Home in Vancouver. He was 52.
