The author of 13 books for children and young adults, Dorothy Louise Rosenberg, 95, born Dec. 25, 1906, in Waverly, Wash. Her maiden name was Young. She attended Reed College and the University of Washington before moving to Petersburg, Alaska, where she worked for a number of years before returning to Washington. She was employed by the Seattle Public School system until 1969.
Her husband, George death.
Survivors include one son, Garry Croman of Seattle; one daughter, Sherrill Taylor of Vancouver; nine grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A private service will be later. The body was cremated, and the ashes will be placed next to her husband's at Wilson Creek died Wednesday, May 1, 2002, in Vancouver.
Mrs. Stone was died in 1997.
Survivors include four daughters, Linda Coughlin of Long Beach, Anita Martin and Martha Garrison, both of Vancouver, and Shirley Stratton of Mountain Home, Ark.; four sons, Walt Hanna of Seattle, Ronald Hanna of Ridgefield, John Hanna Jr. of Aberdeen and Karl Hanna of Vancouver; one sister, Louise Wilson of Gardena, Calif.; one brother, Jack Stone of Las Vegas; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Christian Church. Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Edna M. Bonney

Edna Mae Bonney born Sept. 12, 1913, in Russellville, Ark. She lived in California and Longview before moving to Clark County more than 20 years ago. Her maiden name was Battenfield.
Mrs. Bonney worked in retail in her early years and was a property manager in Santa Cruz and Los Gatos, Calif., for a few years.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Maurice C., at home; one daughter, Shirley Trowbridge of Jupiter, Fla.; one son, Douglas of Edmonds, Wash.; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Bonney was a member of Longview Beacon Hill Baptist Church and a past president of the Parent Teacher Association in Longview. She loved gardening and birds and liked bridge, crafts and sewing.
A funeral will begin at 3 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens died Friday, May 3, 2002, after a long struggle with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and myelofibrosis in a Portland hospital. She was 55.
Mrs. Ferguson was Cemetery. A memorial gathering will be at 4 p.m. today at the family home.

Earle Waldamar Lantz, a buttermaker and farmer, born March 17, 1921, in Harris, Minn.
His first wife, Rubye M., death, Gary E., in 1950, and Keevin E., in 1952.
Mr. Lantz raised Holstein heifers and chickens. He won several buttermaker awards and once received the Grassland Farmer of the Year award in Lewis County.
Survivors include his wife, Betty M., at home; one daughter, Gayle E. Nilson of Mount Vernon, Wash; one son, Keith A. of Los Altos, Calif.; one sister, Maurine Iverson of Wyoming, Minn.; four brothers, Leroy of Olympia, Bert of Auburn, Wash., Carl of Braham, Minn., and Roland of St. Cloud, Minn.; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, followed by burial at 12:30 at Claquato died Wednesday, May 1, 2002, in Ridgefield.
Mr. McFadden was died in 1962.
Survivors include his wife, Susan, at home; and one son, Michael G. of Ridgefield.

Mr. Newkirk was died in 1994.
Mr. Newkirk, who enjoyed woodworking, was a member of the 49er Trailer Club. He spent his winters in Yuma, Ariz.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy, at home; one daughter, Mari Newkirk of Mount Lake Terrace; two sons, Bruce of Lompoc, Calif., and Scott of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a brother, Donald of Washougal; and two granchildren.
His body was cremated and his ashes will be buried

He was died of cancer at home Saturday, May 4, 2002. He was 69.

Survivors include four daughters, Sandi Cole, Tammy Taylor and Diane Bott, all of Vancouver, and Lisa Fournier of Battle Ground; two sons, Charles Jr. and Ritchie, both of Vancouver; four brothers, Gerald of Portland, and Perry, Pete and Jack, all of St. Helens, Ore.; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was Cemetery for William "Bill" E. Washam, who born Oct. 1, 1914, in Louisville, Ky.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Esther, at home; two daughters, Anne Long of Anna, Texas, and Selena Woodword of Vancouver; two sons, Max Cassada of Colonial Heights, Va., and Jack Gilbert of Vancouver; one sister, Irene of Michigan; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Mr. Washam worked in the shipyards, for Lucky Lager Brewing for 20 years and was a painter before he retired.
The casket will be open from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel.
