A lifetime resident of Vancouver who worked as an insurance clerk for the Veterans Administration, Olene D. Fish, 93, born Jan. 2, 1909, in Minneapolis, Minn. Her maiden name was Mikesell. She died in 1964.
A devoted mother and grandmother, she retired from the Veterans Administration after 25 years of service.
Survivors include one daughter, Marilyn Lanners of La Center; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Burial will be private in Lincoln Memorial Park in Portland. Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. An open house will begin at 5 p.m. Friday at 5312 N.E. 294th Circle, La Center.
Margaret J. Loos
Vancouver
There will be a private service at Willamette National died of cancer Friday, May 10, 2002, at home. She was 80.
Mrs. Loos, a homemaker, lived in Vancouver the past 50 years. She was died Saturday, May 11, 2002, in Battle Ground.
Mr. Noltensmeir worked for Burlington Northern Railway for 15 years, served in the Navy for four years, and retired from the Army and National Guard.
Mr. Noltensmeir was Cemetery. The casket will be open from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Layne's Funeral Home in Battle Ground.

Ida E. Whipkey

Ida E. Whipkey, a homemaker, died in 1964.
Mrs. Whipkey was died Saturday, May 11, 2002, in Vancouver. He was 84.
Mr. Wolski was died in 1996.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Morlin of Battle Ground; three sons, Theodore of El Cajon, Calif., Thomas of Robbinsdale, Minn., and Richard of Tigard, Ore.; one sister, Mertice Marottek of Poplar, Mont.; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Wolski worked at Fort Peck Dam in Montana, was a bartender in Wolf Point, Mont., and owned a bar and hotel in Medicine Lake, Mont. After he retired in 1978, he moved to Moses Lake, Wash.
He was a member of Moose Lodge 2423 in Dollars Corner and liked playing rummy, hunting and camping.
A funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Layne's Funeral Home in Battle Ground. There will be a private burial. The casket will be open from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Helen I. Brigham
Ocean Park
Helen Ila Brigham, a homemaker, born Sept. 7, 1927, in Springfield, Colo., and lived in Ocean Park the past 25 years. Her maiden name was Zipse.
Survivors include five daughters, Loreta L. Holcomb, Valerie K. Senn, Pamela S. Cone and Melodie L. Derheim, all of Vancouver, and Phyllis M. Pavelic of Portland; one son, Philip L. Leichner Jr. of Longview; one brother, Clifford Zipse of Blackfoot, Idaho; 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and her special companion, Darrell Mishler of Ocean Park.
Mrs. Brigham enjoyed ceramics, camping and gardening.
A funeral will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at Vancouver Funeral Chapel. The casket will be open from noon to 5 today and 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Park Hill died May 6 in an accident in Klamath Falls. He was 73.
Joe Daly

There will be a private service for Joe Daly, who born Oct. 25, 1918, in Holdenbill, Okla. He lived in Roseburg, Ore., before moving to Camas 12 years ago.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara P., at home; two sons, Jim of Eugene, Ore., and Clayne of Hot Springs, Ark.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Davies Cremation and Burial Services is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
Mary L. Ledbury

Former Clark County resident Mary Louise Ledbury born May 30, 1926, in Hood River, Ore. She moved to Beaverton in 1994.
She lived in Vancouver for many years, where she was a volunteer at nursing homes. Mrs. Ledbury enjoyed playing cards, walking and crocheting.
Her husband, Albert, Cemetery in Portland.

Richard L. Mathot
Woodland
Richard "Dick" Louis Mathot, 81, born April 11, 1921, in Pittsburgh, Pa., and lived in Woodland since May 5.
He was a stock market broker for Shearson Lehman.
Survivors include his wife, Ernestine, at home; one stepdaughter, Denise Hart-Sandoval of Albuquerque, N.M.; three sons, Peter of Wasilla, Alaska, Mark of Lucille, Idaho, and Matthew of Denver; one stepson, W. Damon Hart; two brothers, Bill and Jack, both of Scottsdale, Ariz.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A Navy veteran of World War II, he wrote magazine articles about finances, fly fishing and recreation. He also enjoyed painting with oils and watercolors.
There will be no service. Davies Cremation and Burial Services is in charge of arrangements.
Amado V. Nino

An Army veteran of the Korean War, Amado V. Nino, born May 13, 1928, in Sugarland, Texas, and lived in the Clark County area the past 13 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Halan Rojas of Vancouver; four sons, Amado Jr. of Hermiston, Ore., Jim of Kent, Wash., Tom of Vancouver and Dan of Boise, Idaho; one brother, Felipe of San Marcos, Texas; and seven grandchildren.
Rosary will begin at 6 tonight at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. A service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
