Lena L. Rogers

Lena Louisa Rogers, who worked in the old Crown Zellerbach bag factory for 32 years, born June 4, 1912, in Condon, Ore. Miss Rogers lived in Camas from 1932 to 2000 when she moved to Vancouver.
She is survived by one brother, George Rogers of Vancouver.
Miss Rogers was a very involved member of the Camas Church of the Nazarene and had received the highest award from the church, the Distinguished Service Award. She was a junior director, secretary and treasurer of the missionary society and a board member for 25 years.
Miss Rogers enjoyed traveling and going to the beach.
A funeral will begin at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the church. Private burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens died Sunday, May 12, 2002, in Vancouver. She was 76.

Lon L. Henson

A Vancouver resident since 1966, Lon L. Henson born May 19, 1913, in Norwood, Mo., and was raised in Idaho.
A heavy equipment operator who retired in 1987, he enjoyed digging clams, crabbing, traveling and making yard toys. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Florence, Ore., and the Vancouver Moose Lodge.
A son, Gary, preceded him in died Sunday, May 12, 2002, in Gresham, Ore. She was 81.
Mrs. Johnson was died in 1975.
Survivors include one daughter, Donna Thomson of Gresham; two sons, William McConnell of Beaverton, Ore., and Charles McConnell of Vancouver; two brothers, Charles Knapp and Todd Knapp, both of California; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Good Shepherd Community Church in Boring, Ore.

Oscar D. MacComber
Washougal
A memorial service will begin at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Evergreen Staples Funeral Chapel for Oscar D. MacComber, who born Nov. 20, 1910, in Vancouver and lived in Clark County all his life.
Mr. MacComber was a locomotive engineer and last worked for Burlington Northern Railway. He retired at age 65.
He was a member of Mount Hood Masonic Lodge, Afifi Temple of the Shrine and active for many years in the Clark County Amateur Radio Club, where his call letters were W7SAP.
Mr. MacComber enjoyed driving his car around the Vancouver area.
His first wife, Mary L., died May 2, 2002, at her Portland home. She was 70.
Mrs. Nyquist was cemetery. In 1964, she moved to Portland and worked in grocery stores until retiring in 1984.

Lynda W. Moore

Lynda Winifred Moore, a cat breeder, born June 16, 1948, in Huntington, W.Va.
She liked art and animals.
Survivors include her father, Marlin Nelson of Van Nuys, Calif.; two sons, Eric Locke of Vancouver and Aaron Locke of Auburn; and one grandchild.
The casket will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at Evergreen Staples Funeral Home. A funeral will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, followed by a graveside service at St. James Acres.
Eleanor M. Nielsen
Vancouver
Eleanor M. Nielsen, a resident of Vancouver since 1997 born June 29, 1913, in Lily, S.D. Her maiden name was Anderson.
She worked in several positions for Eastman Kodak Co. for 42 years.
Mrs. Nielsen enjoyed crafts, photography and gardening.
Her husband, Weston, died in 1994.
Survivors include one daughter, Judith Sutton of Minneapolis; three sisters, Gladys Breuklander of Stanwood, Ethel Lacy of Vancouver and Ella Rasmussen of Siseton, S.D.; one brother, Sheldon Anderson of MacArthur, Calif.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be held on June 1 at Hillside died of a heart attack April 27, 2002, while visiting in Chandler, Ariz. He was 86.
Mr. Grieson was died in 1982.
Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Juanita, at home; one daughter, Judy Farmer of Portland; one stepdaughter, Julie Gulstad of Chandler; one son, Gerry of Vancouver; one stepson, Nathan Gladney of Apple Valley, Calif.; three grandsons; five step-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Grieson, who loved golfing, was a member of Evergreen Jehovah Witnesses Church.
A memorial service will begin at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at church, 2408 Stapleton Road. His body was cremated.
Lola Lewis

A funeral will begin at 2 p.m. today at Hamilton-Mylan Funeral Home for Lola Lewis, who born Dec. 24, 1926, in Brooklyn, N.Y. Her maiden name was Richard.
Her husband, James, preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, Rainie of Vancouver; one sister, Alma Williams of Accokeek, Md.; and one brother, Alfonso Richard of Queens, N.Y.
Mrs. Lewis attended St. James Catholic Church and enjoyed sewing, crocheting and crafts.
The casket will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the funeral home. A private burial will be in St. James Acres.
