Mrs. Mace enjoyed reading, oil painting, crossword puzzles and traveling.

Robert E. McConnell

A 17-year resident of Clark County, Robert Earl McConnell, born Dec. 17, 1920, in Cleveland, Ohio.
Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Victorian, at home; one stepson, Song Lee of Vancouver; one sister, Marian Derfer of Jacksonville, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
Mr. McConnell, a Mason, was a member of the Elks Lodge in Beaverton, Ore.
A memorial service was Thursday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. Private burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens died in Yacolt on Monday, May 13, 2002, at the home of his daughter where he lived for the past few weeks.

Irene May Negravel, who lived for 10 years in Clark County, born June 2, 1919, in Colville. Her maiden name was Ames.
Mrs. Negravel loved to play bingo, card games and watch TV, especially soap operas and "The Price is Right."
Her husbands, John Camp and Eugene Negravel, and sons, Kenny R. and Darrell R., all preceded her in Cemetery.

Sidney D. Overton
Hughson, Calif.
A former Vancouver resident, Sidney D. Overton, Born April 6, 1928, Mrs. Overton lived in Vancouver from 1997 to 2001.
Survivors include her husband, Max, at home; two daughters, Rebecca A. Holloway of Enterprise, Utah, and Sarah J. Barth of Hughson; one son, Neil P. of Roy, Utah; two sisters, Jean Dunlop of Vancouver and Sarah Dawe of Walla Walla; 26 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A son, Lloyd E., preceded her in died Wednesday, May 15, 2002, at home. She was 67.
Mrs. Reed attended Battle Ground High School and enjoyed camping, fishing and crafts. She was a member of the American Business Women's Association and a 30-year member of Alcoholics Anonymous.
A memorial service will begin at 6 p.m. Friday, May 24, at Calvary Chapel. Davies Cremation and Burial Services is in charge of arrangements.
