Her husband of 45 years, Jay, died Friday, Aug. 2, 2002, in Vancouver. She was 61.
Mrs. Brinson was died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2002, in Portland.
Mrs. Carlson was died in 1982.
She played the piano and organ and was the church organist at Woodland Presbyterian Church, where she was a member. She enjoyed bird and squirrel watching, playing bingo and bridge and crocheting.
Her daughter Irene Stroh Cemetery. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. at Woodland Presbyterian Church. Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

An avid hunter and fisherman who liked to travel and work on cars, Eric C. Ericksen, 57, born July 1, 1945, in Ritzville, Wash., and had lived in Vancouver for 10 years. He worked as an advertising specialties salesman and was a member of Elks Lodge 823 in Vancouver, Ducks Unlimited, and the Grays Harbor Pogie Club.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Cheryl, at home; one daughter, Leanne Ericksen of Vancouver; two sisters, Beverly Roberts of Vancouver and Betty Wynn of Hoquiam, Wash.; and one brother, Greg of Vancouver.

A registered nurse and member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church who enjoyed lunching with friends and traveling, Mary Josephine Furno, 89, born Jan. 19, 1913, in Denver and had lived in Clark County for 63 years. Peter Gillas

A memorial Mass will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Camas for Peter "Buster" Gillas, who born March 26, 1929, in Hallock, Minn., and moved to Camas with his family when he was 6 months old. He graduated from Camas High School and joined the Air Force in 1951. He was an air traffic controller and was stationed in Texas, Mississippi, north Africa and Moses Lake, Wash. He was discharged in 1955 and went to work for Crown Zellerbach, where he served as a machine tender for 411/2 years. After his in-laws retired, he took over the management of Johnston's Drive In Dairy in Camas. A member of the American Legion, Elks, and 40 et 8, he also enjoyed working in his garden.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Jeannette, at home; one son, Tim of Vancouver; one daughter, Melanie Brown of Washougal; and six grand- children.
The casket will be open from 1 to 3 p.m. today at Straub's Funeral Home in Camas. His ashes will be inurned at Camas died Friday, Aug., 2, 2002, in Washougal.

Robert Ryan Cheek born April 11, 1931, in Salina, Kan.
He attended Whitworth College and was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Wanda, at home; two daughters, Lorinda Cheek and Debbie Myers, both of Vancouver; two sons, Craig of Beaverton, Ore., and Christopher of Portland; six grandchildren; and one step-grandchildren.
A graveside service will begin at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Willamette National died Friday, Aug. 23, 2002, at home of asbestos-related lung cancer. He was 65.
Mr. Hall retired from the James River mill.
He was Cemetery in Portland. Crown Burial & Cremation Services in Milwaukie is in charge of arrangements.

Phyllis Ruth Larson, who lived in Vancouver the past 16 years, born May 19, 1922, in Sioux Falls, S.D. Her maiden name was Winegar.
Survivors include one daughter, Carol Summers of Falls Church, Va.; two sons, Thomas L. of Vancouver and Jeffrey of Salt Lake City; one sister, Natalie Marino of Ogden, Utah; one brother, Richard Winegar of Tucker, Ga.; and seven grandchildren.
Mrs. Larson liked to attend her grandchildren's activities. She was a volunteer at FISH, hospice and Our Lady of Lourdes.
