James R. Dickinson

Former Clark County resident James Richard Dickinson born May 26, 1922, in Galesburg, Ill. He moved to Vancouver when he was a toddler and later attended Providence Academy.
He worked for Boeing Co. in Seattle, and when World War II broke out he joined the Coast Guard. He liked golfing, oil painting and playing guitar.
Survivors include two sisters, Dorothy Abel of Sierra Vista, Ariz., and Sally Beutz of Renton.
The casket will be open from 11 a.m. to noon Friday at Lewis Funeral Home in Bremerton. A service will begin at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Washington Veteran's Home in Retsil.
Mary A. Glascoe

Mary Alice Glascoe born June 29, 1917, in The Dalles, Ore. She moved to Vancouver after her husband, Horace, Cemetery in White Salmon. Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon is in charge of arrangements.

Rosary will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church for James E. Goggin, who born April 17, 1916, in DeGraff, Minn.
His daughter, Diane G. Goggin, Cemetery in Portland. Hamilton-Mylan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Jean M. Johnson

Jean Marie Johnson, a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and knitting, Born Feb. 24, 1927, in Greeley, Colo., Mrs. Johnson had lived in Clark County since 1983. Her maiden name was Tyson.
Survivors include one daughter, Nancy J. Johnson of Columbus, Ohio; one son, Robb E. of Camas; and one brother, Floyd Tyson Jr. of Eaton, Colo.
A memorial service will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. Her body will be cremated.

Elsie G. Mills

A lifetime Clark County resident, Elsie G. Mills, died in 2000, and a son, Carvel, born Dec. 17, 1912, in La Center. Her maiden name was Anderson.
Survivors include two daughters, Myrna Snead of Ridgefield and Connie Mills of Tacoma; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A service will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Community of Christ Church in Ridgefield, followed by a graveside service at Ridgefield died Saturday, Aug. 24, 2002, in a Portland hospital. She was 84.
Mrs. Pachl was a member of St. John's Catholic Church. She had a large collection of wind chimes.
Her husband, Clement, died in 1967.
She was died Monday, Aug. 26, 2002, in Vancouver. She was 85.
Mrs. Pederson lived in Clark County the past 60 years. She was died in 1994.
Survivors include one daughter, Marlys Gagliardi of Vancouver; three sons, Dale, James and Rodney, all of Vancouver; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Mrs. Pederson enjoyed playing cards, dancing and liked to sing.
Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens died Sunday, Aug. 25, 2002, in Vancouver. She was 92.
Mrs. Pruter, a homemaker, enjoyed dancing, crocheting, knitting, fishing, gardening and bowling. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She was died in 1998.
Mrs. Pruter was died Aug. 17.

Erliss M. Showalter

A graveside service will begin at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Evergreen Memorial Gardens died Monday, Aug. 26, 2002, in a care center. She was 88.
Her husband, Gerald S., died in 1991.
Mrs. Showalter was died Aug. 22, 2002, at Oregon Health & Sciences University Hospital in Portland. She was 39.
Miss Borja was born June 20, 1963, in Tamuning, Guam. She lived in Vancouver for the past three years.
Miss Borja was a Catholic and loved music. She was studying accounting at Clark College.
Survivors include her mother, Maria G. Borja of Guam; one sister, Melanie Quintanilla of Vancouver; and four brothers, John, Gerald and Alan, all of Guam, and Frank of Manila, Philippines.
Recitation of the rosary and Mass of Christian burial will be in Guam. Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of local arrangements.
