A retired air mechanic who loved to fish and hunt, Jack Studyvin, 76, born March 29, 1926, in St. Joseph, Mo. He lived in Vancouver for two years.
Mr. Studyvin was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Survivors include his son, John, of Vancouver; and his sister, Leslie Wells of Raytown, Mo.
A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at the LDS church at 2223 N.W. 99th St.
Evergreen Staples Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements.
Sharon L. Bybee
Vancouver
Sharon Lee Bybee, who loved riding motorcycles, born Aug. 31, 1948, in Riddle, Ore. She lived in Vancouver off and on before moving to Vancouver permanently two years ago. Her maiden name was Woodcock.
Survivors include three daughters, Jessica Romero, Amy Bybee and Marti Bybee, all of Vancouver; one son, Travis of Gresham; two sisters, Donna Hillman of Portland and Sissy Woodcock of Seattle; one brother, Ozzy Woodcock of Seattle; and six grandchildren.
Mrs. Bybee was a member of the Laborers Union, Local 296. She liked leather crafts.
A memorial service will begin at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel.
Richard D. Cook
Vancouver
Richard "Dick" D. Cook, who graduated from Vancouver High School in 1953, born May 17, 1935, in Vancouver. He lived in Colville, Wash., for about 13 years, and the rest of his life he lived in Clark County.
Mr. Cook was manager of Bluebird Transfer and Storage in Vancouver for many years and was a co-owner of North Columbia Distributing in Colville.
A granddaughter, Rachel Kneale, Cemetery.

Marcia R. Hale

There will be a private service for Marcia R. Hale, who died Sept. 6, 2002, in Vancouver. He was 87.
His wife of 57 years, Maxine, born Dec. 13, 1914, in Portland.
Mr. Hartley owned a beach house at Ocean Park, Wash. He loved fishing and clamming.
Survivors include two sons, Bob of Vancouver and Dick of Longview; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A service will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Evergreen Memorial Gardens died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2002, in Vancouver. She was 90.
Mrs. Veldman resided in Vancouver the past six months. She was died in 1979.
Survivors include two daughters, Alice A. Gronas of Vancouver and Maryhelen Cox of Pasco; two sons, George H. of Las Cruces, N.M., and James of St. Joseph, Mich.; two sisters, Mary VanderVen and Virginia Stewart, both of Wyandotte, Mich.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be Monday in Pilgrim Home died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2002, in Selah. She was 39.
Miss Matson was a member of the Apostolic Lutheran Church. She enjoyed listening to hymns.
She was Cemetery in Battle Ground. Layne's Funeral Home in Battle Ground is in charge of arrangements.
Gerald L. Wilson
La Center
Gerald L. Wilson, who was an aerospace engineer with Rockwell International for 30 years, born Feb. 27, 1931, in Hartsville, S.C., and lived in La Center about four months.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia J., at home; two daughters, Rebecca Wilson of Vancouver and Katherine Osborne of La Center; one son, Gerald L. Wilson Jr. of Ventura, Calif.; one brother, James H. of Raleigh, N.C.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Wilson, a Navy veteran of the Korean War, helped design the global positioning satellite system. He received the Silver Knight Management Award. He was an avid golfer and also made golf clubs.
Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. There will be no service.

Susan A. Woodbridge

Susan Ann Luddy Woodbridge born June 18, 1952, in Waterbury, Conn.
She attended Mattatuck Community College in Waterbury. She enjoyed traveling and gardening. Mrs. Woodbridge was a treasurer of the Junior Hawks Youth Hockey Association in Portland.
Survivors include her parents, Mary and Robert Luddy Sr. of Prospect, Conn.; one daughter, Kelly Woodbridge of Vancouver; one son, Mark of Vancouver; two sisters, Kathleen Stango of Prospect and Barbara Sullivan of Waterbury; and one brother, Robert Luddy Jr. of Prospect.
A funeral will begin at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home in Prospect.
Burial will be in Prospect died Aug. 27, 2002, in Sacramento from complications of alcoholism. He was 57.
Mr. Fallin was died of cancer Sept. 5, 2002, in a Coos Bay, Ore., hospital. He was 74.
He was born April 26, 1928, in Walnut, Kan., and moved to Vancouver in 1978.
Mr. Harvey and his wife, Wanda, were Oregon State Park hosts and worked at Umpqua Lighthouse State Park.
He worked as a machinist and retired from Pendleton Woolen Mills in Washougal in 1993.
Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Wanda, at home; two daughters, Virginia Ortman of Olathe, Kan., and Jill Harvey of Valdez, Alaska; two stepdaughters, Eldean Williams of Washougal and Jane Kennedy of Vancouver; one son, Michael of Spokane; two stepsons, Bob Kennedy of Vancouver and Stan Cassity of Troutdale, Ore.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the lodge at J.M. Honeyman State Park at Dunes City, Ore.
