Jack Gordon McDonnell, who liked fishing, hunting, gardening and playing bridge, born Nov. 26, 1930, in Pontiac, Mich., and had lived in Vancouver since 1995.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Margaret S., at home; his mother, Dorothy McDonnell of Palm Springs, Calif.; three daughters, Susan McDonnell of Seminole, Fla., Debra Owens of Draper, Utah, and Kathy Ivie of South Jordon, Utah; two sons, Dale of Hillsboro and Doug of Portland; one sister, Janet Cunnington of Palm Springs; and 17 grandchildren.
A service will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at 13600 S.E. McGillivray Blvd. Burial will be in Willamette National died Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2002, in La Center. She was 80.
Mrs. Rhodes worked as a skip tracer for the state of California.
Her husband, Stanley W., born Dec. 23, 1921, in Hull, Iowa. Her maiden name was Vermeer.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna Smith of Ridgefield and Leslie Dyson of Sterling, Colo.; two sisters, Angie Cox of Bellflower, Calif., and Ruth VanZee of Artesia, Calif.; one brother, Harold Vermeer of Sioux Center, Iowa; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Rhodes enlisted in the Navy as a yeoman in 1943. She was a past worthy matron of Valley Oak Chapter of Eastern Star 50 and active in Jobs Daughters.
There will be a private service. The casket will be open noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at Vancouver Funeral Chapel. Cemetery.

Marlow E. Freckleton
Washougal
Marlow Ellis Freckleton, 70, born April 2, 1932, in Rupert, Idaho, and attended Brigham Young University and Ricks College before joining the Air Force.
After serving two years in the military, he completed a two-year church mission in Tennessee and Kentucky and then returned to Idaho, where he death by one grandchild.
Survivors include his wife, Gayla, at home; three daughters, Cynthia Stimmel of Livermore, Calif., Cheri Greear of Washougal and Jill Dean of Vancouver; one son, Mark of Bremerton; four sisters, Barbara Ragsdale and Beth Bell, both of Boise, Idaho, Joyce Simmons of Rupert, Idaho, and Nancy Beckman of Council Bluffs, Iowa; one brother, Dan of Idaho Falls, Idaho; and 16 grandchildren.
A funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Washougal.
Burial will follow at Willamette National died Sunday, September 8, 2002, at his home in Vancouver.
Mr. Fletcher was died Friday, September 13, 2002, in Lakewood.

Elmo L. Richards

Elmo Leslie Richards, a resident of Vancouver for the past 25 years, born June 20, 1944, in Stockton, Calif.
Mr. Richards did piece work for the sheltered workshop in Vancouver. He was a member of People First of Vancouver.
Mr. Richards is survived by his mother, Virginia A. Richards of Vancouver, and a brother, Durkee Richards of Sequim.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
His body will be cremated. Vancouver Funeral Chapel handled the arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Homes for Community Living Reference Library, or to charity.
Josephine H. Herb

Rosary will begin at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, followed by Mass at 12:10, at St. James Catholic Church for Josephine Hastings Herb, 92, who died in 1978.
Mrs. Herb was died Saturday, Sept. 14, 2002, at Southwest Washington Medical Center. He was 87.
He was a retired master brewer and maltster with Great Western Malting Co. and an Episcopal priest.
His wife, Eugenia M., died in 1986.

Her husband, Zidna, and daughters, Mildred McHugh and Peggy Klingenberg, all preceded her in born Oct. 12, 1913, in Hubbard, Ore. Her maiden name was White.
Survivors include five daughters, Judy Starkey of Healy, Alaska, Karen Lander of Battle Ground, Sandra Hayes of Vancouver, Cheryl Delbaum of Portland and Connie Tenhundfeld of Amboy; one son, Edward of Spokane; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. McHugh enjoyed gardening, jigsaw puzzles and reading.
There will be a private gathering. Vancouver Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Marvin L. Moultrie
Centralia
Former Clark County resident, Marvin Leon Moultrie, born Nov. 3, 1919, in Dayton, Idaho. A Navy veteran of World War II, he lived in Vancouver 31 years before moving to Chehalis a year and a half ago.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mr. Moultrie was a scoutmaster, loved the outdoors and liked camping, fishing and working on cars.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter.
Survivors include his wife, of 62 years, Clara, at home; two daughters, Karen Atterton of Provo, Utah, and Sherry Travers of Onalaska, Wash.; one son, Leon of Chehalis; five brothers; three sisters; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
A service will begin at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Mormon Church, 2195 Jackson Highway in Chehalis. The casket will be open at the church an hour before the service. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Chehalis. Cattermole Funeral Home in Winlock, Wash., is in charge of arrangements.
