Karen Diane Stenseth, who resided in Vancouver the past 30 years born Oct. 10, 1936, in Dickinson, N.D. Her maiden name was Monroe.
Survivors include her husband, Lee S., at home; her mother, Vina Monroe of St. Cloud, Minn.; one daughter, Lisa Dow of Vancouver; one son, Philip of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one sister, Kathleen Ellis of St. Cloud, Minn.; and three grandchildren.
Mrs. Stenseth was a member of Vancouver Tennis Center, Royal Oaks Country Club and Southwest Washington Medical Center Foundation.
A celebration of her life will begin at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Marshall House on Officers Row. Vancouver Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Dallas Drub Sutherland, a power line contractor for Bonneville Power Administration, born April 13, 1933, in Silver Creek, Minn.
A son, Steven, died Sept. 10, 2002, in La Center. There will be a private inurnment.
Ivan C. Woods
Woodland
A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. today at First Presbyterian Church in Woodland for Ivan Clair Woods, who born June 26, 1935, in Goldendale, Wash. He moved to the Woodland area from Portland in 1977.
He graduated from Oregon State University in 1957 and served in the Marine Corps and the Reserves.
Mr. Woods retired from Pacific Northwest Bell in 1990 after 30 years.
He enjoyed traveling and his farm, and was a member of the Woodland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy, at home; three sons, Jason C. of La Center, and Michael D. and Patrick A., both of Aloha, Ore.; and one grandson.
Woodland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

J.C. Bright

J.C. "Jim" Bright, who retired from the U.S. Postal Service, born April 20, 1932, in Arcanum, Ohio.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley A., at home; one daughter, Debra S. Bright of Cornelius, Ore.; two sons, James C. of Vancouver and Jeffrey C. of Camas; one sister, Annabel Bright of Burnaby, B.C.; two brothers, Waldo of Tacoma and Robert of Washougal; and seven grandchildren.
Mr. Bright was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He enjoyed basketball, golf, softball, horseshoes and gardening.
A service will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas. Burial will be in Camas died Monday, Sept. 16, 2002, in Vancouver. He was 60.
Mr. Cantley had been a truck driver for many years.

A service was Wednesday at St. James Catholic Church for Josephine H. Herb, who died in 1978.
Mrs. Herb was died Monday, Sept. 16, 2002, in Battle Ground. She was 89.
A graveside service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Brush Prairie born Jan. 21, 1913, in Sifton. Her maiden name was Burnett.
Her husband, Lloyd, death.
Survivors include three sons, Charles and John R., both of Vancouver, and Bob of Corvallis, Ore.; one brother, George A. of Vancouver; 23 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Mrs. Hughey was a member of the Brethern Church and Hillcrest Nazarene Church. She was a rock hound and enjoyed playing pinochle and watching the Seattle Mariners.
