Leonard Hendrickson

Leonard "Lee" Hendrickson, 52, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003, at Southwest Washington Medical Center. He was 67.
A funeral will begin at 3 p.m. today at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens born Oct. 24, 1935, in Violet Hill, Ark., and lived in Vancouver for 12 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Candice Herron and Cathy Herron, both of Connecticut; two sons, Steven and Jeff, both of Vancouver; one sister, Billie Campbell of Franklin, Ark.; one brother, Arley of Hartford, Mich.; and two grandsons.
Mr. Herron loved selling cars and collecting old cars. He was president of the Horseless Carriage Club in Yakima in 1976.

Violet E. Kellogg

A homemaker who lived in Vancouver the past 22 years, Violet Emma Kellogg, born Nov. 27, 1918, in Hazen, N.D. Her maiden name was Schrumn.
Her husband, LeRoy B., died in 1973.
She is survived by two daughters, Betty Lopez of Vancouver and Patsy Newton of Yacolt; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
There will be no service. Her body was cremated. The ashes will be placed in Park Hill died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2003, in Vancouver. She was 87.
Mrs. Shierman, a homemaker, was a member of St. John Lutheran Church.
She enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, fishing, bowling and baking.
She was died in 1995.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra L. Wilson and Connie M. Vowels, both of Vancouver; two sons, John W. and James M., both of Vancouver; three sisters, Elizabeth Thompson and Hazel Gibbons, both of Vancouver, and Lucille Strohman of Redding, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church. The casket will be open from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday and noon to 7 p.m. Friday at Vancouver Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in St. John Lutheran Church died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003, in Vancouver of heart problems. He was 61.
Mr. Shipley, a welder and fabricator, was died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2003, in Woodland. He was 79.
Mr. Vrieswyk, a dairyman who lived in Clark County the past 34 years, was died in 1997.
Survivors include his wife, Syke "Sylvia, " at home; two daughters, Seke Jilderda of Mount Carroll, Ill., and Hiltje Anderson of Morrison, Ill.; two sons, John and Fred, both of Amboy; two sisters, Sietske Kaap and Miene Scherjon, both of Holland; one brother, Sipke of Holland; 14 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Vrieswyk was a master dairyman. After he retired, he cared for the chickens, sheep and dogs and enjoyed gardening.
Burial will be in Chelatchie died Monday, Jan. 27, 2003, in Brush Prairie. He was 70.
His wife of 44 years, Emma J., died in 1963.
Mr. Weber was Cemetery in Brush Prairie, followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. at Battle Ground Baptist Church.
The casket will be open from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Layne's Funeral Home in Battle Ground.
Brian D. Spratt
Vancouver
Brian D. Spratt, an income tax accountant, born June 18, 1948, in Seattle and lived in the Vancouver area for 27 years.
Survivors include his wife, Dee, at home; his parents, Vera and Sam Spratt of Seattle; two sons, Jesse of Vancouver and Beau D. of Phoenix, Ariz.; one sister, Karen Bates of Spokane; and one brother, Kevin of Seattle.
Mr. Spratt enjoyed fishing and traveling.
There will be a celebration of his life later. Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Warren L. Whaley

Warren LeRoy Whaley born Oct. 28, 1925, in Sydney, Mont.
He moved to Vancouver six years ago and bought a house with his daughter, Valerie and son-in-law Gerald Watkins. He lived with them and his grandchildren, Matthew Landrock and Brian Pouppirt-Whaley.
His wife, Verlie, Cemetery at The Presidio, San Francisco.
