Bessie I. Fuller

A longtime resident of Vancouver, Bessie Idella Fuller born Feb. 11, 1927, in Carson, Wash. Her maiden name was Monaghan.
She enjoyed visiting Spirit Mountain and traveling to Nevada. She also liked attending family gatherings.
She was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Stevenson, the American Legion in Carson, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Moose Lodge.
Her husband, Kenneth A. Fuller, Cemetery in Portland for Jack Dempsey Griffin, who born Sept. 8, 1920, in Santa Ana, Calif., moved to Woodland in 1949.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and fought in the Battle of the Bulge.
He worked for the Lewis River News for 33 years before retiring in 1982.
Mr. Griffin enjoyed woodworking, fishing and golfing. He was a volunteer firefighter in Woodland for 27 years and a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1927 in Woodland.
Survivors include his wife, Lorraine, at home; two daughters, Susan Park of Kalama and Linda Morris of Vancouver; one son, Jack of Vancouver; one sister, Ellen Hess of Sublimity, Ore.; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Woodland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Wilferd A. Holen

Wilferd A. Holen, 80, Cemetery.
He was died Friday, Nov. 8, 2002, in an assisted living facility. She was 78.
Mrs. Haley was died in a truck accident Sunday, Nov. 10, 2002, in Battle Ground. He was 18.
He worked at Portland Meadows race track the past two years.
He was Cemetery.

Paul Liedtke
Washougal
Paul Liedtke born March 15, 1918, in Pierre, S.D. He moved to the Mount Pleasant area when he was 5 years old.
After Mr Liedtke graduated from Washougal High School he joined the Army and served in World War II.
He worked as a welder in the Vancouver shipyards and later as a logger. He then became a construction contractor and built many homes.
He enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing and horseback riding. He was a member of Orchard Hills Country Club and the North Bank Masonica Lodge.
His wife, Florence, Cemetery, followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. at Straub's Funeral Home in Camas. The casket will be open from noon to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

James P. Morgan

Former Vancouver resident James Paul Morgan, 40, born June 11, 1962, in Palo Alto, Calif. He moved to Vancouver in 1985.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa, at home; his mother, Dolores Morgan of Delhi, Calif.; his stepmother and father, Gay N. and James Morgan Sr. of Lake Dom Pedro, Calif.; one daughter, Brandy Morgan of Delhi; and three sisters, Denise Branham of Delhi, and Julie A. Morgan and Patty Williams, both of Modesto, Calif.
A service will begin at 2 p.m. today at Allen Mortuary in Turlock, Calif.

Orland J. Ness
Camas
Orland "O.J." James Ness, 58, an operator assistant for BBA Non-Wovens Washougal Inc., born Sept. 4, 1944, in Kenmore, N.D., and lived in Camas 26 years.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon L., at home; two daughters, Traci Haddad of Vancouver and Sheri Johnson of Washougal; two sons, Troy Ness of Vancouver and John W. Garver of Portland; one sister, Maureen Smith of Vancouver; three brothers, Charles of Africa, Dean of Vancouver and Myron of Westport, Wash.; and seven grandchildren.
Mr. Ness was a member of the Pulp and Paperworkers Union, Local 5, of Camas and the Army National Guard. He enjoyed fishing.
A service will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at Camas Assembly of God in Camas.

Elias Perez

Elias Perez, a long-haul trucker, born June 15, 1955, in Los Angeles, Calif., and lived in Vancouver the past 20 years.
Survivors include four sisters, Gloria DiBlasico and Amelia Rocha, both of California, and Elizabeth Lopez and Sylvia Perez, both of Washington; and four brothers, Manuel Cano and Joe Martinez, both of California, and David Perez and Eliseo Perez, both of Washington.
Mr. Perez was a member of the Lighthouse Christian Church in Orchards. He enjoyed camping, model trains and preparing for holiday celebrations.
The casket will be open from 10 a.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral today at Evergreen Staples Funeral Chapel.
Hazel A. Pinson
Vancouver
A graveside service will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Evergreen Memorial Gardens died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2002, in Vancouver. She was 90.
Mrs. Pinson, who taught at Harney Elementary School for many years, was a longtime member of Glad Tidings Church. She enjoyed cooking.
Mrs. Pinson was died in 1996, and a daughter, Yvonne Pinson, died in 1992.
Survivors include one son, Richard of Vancouver; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The casket will be open from 5 to 9 tonight at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel.
