Survivors include her husband, Bruce R., at home; her stepmother, Dona Norris of Beaverton, Ore.; two daughters, Melissa Erickson of Portland and Rebecca Pennington of Vancouver; two sons, John Kolbe and Rick Blum, both of Vancouver; two brothers, Jerry Blakely of Tigard, Ore., and Mark Blakely of Pennsylvania; and five grandchildren.
Mrs. Blum liked going to the beach and movies, shopping and attending bazaars. She loved her dogs, Razz and Frank.
Her life will be celebrated at an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at her home, 13808 N.E. 137th Ave.

Paul R. Egbert

Paul R. Egbert, who last worked as a technician at Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland, born Dec. 29, 1955, in Vancouver and lived in Clark County all his life.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara R., at home; his mother, Ruby Egbert of Vancouver; and one sister, Carol Strong of Vancouver.
There will be a gathering at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15 at his home, 1805 S.E. 185th Place.
John C. Haats
Las Vegas, Nev.
Former Clark County resident John C Haats born Sept. 30, 1971, in Vancouver and lived in Las Vegas, Nev., for the past year
Mr. Haats graduated from Hudson's Bay High School in 1990.
He was self-employed in Las Vegas and enjoyed golfing, skiing and boating.
Survivors include his mother, Sharon of North Carolina; his father, John Haats of Las Vegas; and one son, Chris, at home.
A private ceremony was Feb. 3 in Las Vegas.
A. Gunhild A. Johansson
Battle Ground
A bookkeeper who lived in Clark County for the past 14 years, A. Gunhild A. Johansson born Jan. 2, 1935, in Kalix, Sweden. Her maiden name was Stromback.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Borje "Bud, " at home; two daughters, Anna Kelley and Kristine Sarkkinen, both of Battle Ground; two sons, Henry and Karl, both of Battle Ground; one brother, Ture Stromback of Jarsalla, Sweden; 18 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Johansson was a member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church and enjoyed handwork and writing.
A funeral will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church, 16603 N.E. 142nd Ave., Brush Prairie. Burial will be in Elim died Friday, Jan. 31, 2003, in Vancouver. He was 77.
Mr. Butcher was died of breast cancer Friday, Feb. 7, 2003, in a Woodland care center.
Mrs. Callison was Cemetery. Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Carol J. Chambers

Carol J. Chambers, 60, born April 5, 1942, in Cashmere, Wash., and had lived in La Center for 30 years. Her maiden name was Kester.
She was a member of La Center Evangelical Free Church and enjoyed cooking, painting, arts and crafts, reading, playing bunco, collecting cookbooks and spending time with her dog, Zipper.
Survivors include one daughter, Wendy McDowell; three sons, Joe, Pat and Mike; her mother, Jean Schwartzman; one sister, Barbara Kester; two brothers, Mark Schwartzman and John Schwartzman; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be planned later. Davies Cremation and Burial Services is in charge of arrangements.
Martha E. Gray
Vancouver
A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Northside Baptist Church for Martha E. Gray, 84, who born Dec. 5, 1918, in Oklahoma City, Okla. She graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University in 1940, and taught school in Corte Madera, Calif. She moved to Vancouver five years ago and was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
She enjoyed reading, handcrafts, and keeping active as a Sunday School teacher.
She was preceded in Cemetery. Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Duane R. Ingersoll

A graduate of Vancouver High School who enjoyed hunting and fishing, Duane Robert Ingersoll, 64, born May 17, 1938, in Bemidji, Minn., and had lived in Vancouver for 56 years. He worked as a millwright for Boise Cascade for 34 years and then for Beckwith and Kuffel for three years. He was a member of the Association of Western Pulp and Paper Workers and also enjoyed hunting, fishing, gambling and traveling in his motor home.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Della, at home; one daughter, Dorie Ingersoll of Camas; one son, Duane J. of Vancouver; two sisters, Beatrice Bauman of Vancouver and Rose Warren of Battle Ground; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will begin at 12:30 p.m. Monday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. The body was cremated.

Patrick J. Ryan
Vancouver
A died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003, in Portland. He was 66.
Mr. Ryan was died Friday, Feb. 7, 2003, at her home in Battle Ground. She was 87.
Mrs. Quale, whose maiden name was Schuld, was death by her husband, Millard C., in 1993, and a granddaughter, Leslie Watson, in 1977.
Survivors include four daughters, Diane E. Watson of Battle Ground, Nancy A. Scott of Post Falls, Idaho, Susan J. Scott of Sheridan, Ore., and Beth L. Quale of Seattle; one brother, Floyd Schuld of Portland; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
A Cemetery. Viewing will be at the church prior to the service. Layne's Funeral Home in Battle Ground is in charge of arrangements.
