Charlie Clyde Smith, 91, a retired millwright, born Aug. 7, 1912, in Chelan, Wash. He was a longtime resident of Chelan and Okanogan counties before moving to Vancouver two years ago.
His wife, Jo-Anne, died Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2003, in Vancouver. He was 65.
Mr. Turcu did maintenance on machinery.
Survivors include his wife, Floarea, at home; two daughters, Emilia Bozesan and Lidia Dejeu, both of Romania; two sons, Cornel of Vancouver and Daniel of Portland; three sisters, Agripina Enechioia, Mafteia Dumitrescu and Irina Soare, all of Romania; one brother, George of Romania; and four grandchildren.
Mr. Turcu immigrated to the United States in March 2001.
He was a member of the Romania Baptist Church in Portland and an avid reader of the Bible. He enjoyed music.
A funeral will begin at 6 p.m. Sunday and at 12:30 p.m. Monday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2003, in Vancouver. She was 67.
Her husband, Robert C., born Jan. 24, 1936, in Boone, Iowa. She lived in Vancouver the past one and one-half years. Her maiden name was Freel.
She was a medical technologist at Kaiser Permanente.
Survivors include one daughter, Julie Whetstone of Vancouver; one son, Jon of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and two sisters, Marilyn Frampton and Helen Ross, both of Boone.
Mrs. Whetstone attended Marylhurst College in Oregon and Northwest Medical Technology of Minnesota.

Edgar G. Williamson Jr.

Edgar G. Williamson Jr., who retired from Bonneville Power Administration, born Oct. 2, 1921, in Sacul, Texas.
He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Maryann, at home; one daughter, Star Stephenson of Campbell, Calif.; two sons, Gary of Russellville, Ark., and Jason "Jay" of Oregon City; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
There was a private service at Willamette National died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2003, at Southwest Washington Medical Center. She was 77.
She is survived by her husband, Burgess, at home; one daughter, Judy Kaylor White of Camas; one son, Garry of Vancouver; one sister, Betty Nelson of Vancouver; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Mrs. Kaylor was a member of the Church of the Living Waters in Camas. She liked bowling, fishing, camping and traveling in their motor home.
She was death.
A funeral will begin at 3 p.m. Monday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. The casket will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery for Michael A. Kelly, who born Dec. 7, 1941, in Fargo N.D.
He retired from the U.S. Forest Service as an engineering technician.
Survivors include his wife, Carrie L., at home; his parents, Glenn and Alvira Kelly of Vancouver; one daughter, Laurie A. Kelly of Ridgefield; two sons, Alan G. and James L., both of Vancouver; one sister, Judy A. Mason of Vancouver; two brothers, Dan A. and Patrick, both of Vancouver; and three grandchildren.
Mr. Kelly was a member of Salmon Creek United Methodist Church. He enjoyed archaeology and astronomy and was part of the Ridgefield Cathlapotle Plankhouse project.
Evergreen Staples Funeral Chapel is in change of arrangements.

A Vancouver High School graduate, Edward Alan Osborn, born Oct. 22, 1930, in Portland.
Survivors include his wife, Maralyn L., at home; one daughter, Kelly S. Osborn of Orlando, Fla.; one son, Gregory A. of Portland; and one sister, Elanor Shinn of Vancouver.
Mr. Osborn attended Clark College and graduated from the College of Puget Sound. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
There will be no service. Davies Cremation and Burial Services is in charge of arrangements.

A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday at Vancouver Funeral Chapel for John Charles Finch, who born Aug. 22, 1955, in Vancouver. He lived his entire life in Clark County.
Survivors include two sons, Joshua and David, both of Vancouver; two sisters, Darlene Beatty of Orlando, Fla., and Sharlene Thomas of Tacoma; and two brothers, Louie D. of Rainier, Wash., and Gordon of Graham, Wash.
Mr. Finch was a member of the World Wide Church of God. A 1974 graduate of Hudson's Bay High School, he enjoyed collecting Matchbox cars.

Harold V. Schooler

Harold Vance Schooler, who retired as a power scheduling specialist at Bonneville Power Administration, born Dec. 28, 1913, in Woodburn, Ore., and lived in Vancouver since 1941.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Lois, at home; two daughters, Barbara Alu of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Nancy Morrison of Vancouver; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was a Navy veteran and also served with the Coast Guard Reserves. Mr. Schooler enjoyed fishing, gardening and crossword puzzles. He was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons and the American Legion.
A funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church.

A funeral Mass will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Camas, followed by burial in Washougal Memorial died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2003, in Vancouver.
She was died earlier this year.
Survivors include two daughters, LaVonne Sanderson of Arizona and Linda Johnson of Kentucky; two sons, Charles and Richard, both of Vancouver; one brother, Rudy Trujillo; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
