Darrell J. Mishler

Former Vancouver resident Darrell J. Mishler born March 12, 1923, in Sioux City, Iowa, and lived in Ocean Park the past 25 years.
He is survived by one niece, Karen Allen of Akron, Iowa.
He was a veteran of World War II and received a Purple Heart and Silver Star. Mr. Mishler enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, hiking, walking and reading western books.
A memorial gathering will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at his home, 30203 M Place, Ocean Park. Davies Cremation and Burial Services in Vancouver is in charge of arrangements.

A graveside service will begin at noon Wednesday at Evergreen Memorial Gardens died Friday, Sept. 12, 2003, in Vancouver. She was 77.
Her husband of 55 years, Ervin R., born May 19, 1926, in Tuttle, N.D., and had lived in Vancouver since 1944. Her maiden name was Kraemer.
Survivors include four sons, Richard, Bob and Larry, all of Vancouver, and Dale of Issaquah, Wash.; two sisters, Verna Mack of Pattibone, N.D., and Delores Matthews of Denver, Colo.; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Wolf enjoyed knitting and crocheting and trips in her motor home. She loved dancing and enjoyed cooking.
Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

A funeral will begin at 10 a.m. today at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel for Everett Emery Young, who born May 4, 1926, in Lyons, Kan., and had lived in Vancouver since 1968.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn, at home; one daughter, Kathryn Young of Vancouver; four sons, James of Los Alamos, N.M., Charles of Fort Lewis, Wash., Rollin of Shefflield Lake, Ohio, and Christopher of Vancouver; two sisters, Lucy Williams of Tacoma and Mary Barker of Soap Lake, Wash.; two brothers, Dell of Lyons, Kan., and Jack of Suprise, Ariz.; 14 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Mr. Young was a veteran of the Army Military Police in World War II. He enjoyed car racing, football and watching Perry Mason on television.
Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens died Friday, Sept. 12, 2003, in Vancouver. He was 82.
Mr. Schute was died in 1995.
Survivors include his wife, LaMona, at home; one daughter, Linda Wood of Washougal; one son, Michael of Carlsbad, Calif.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Schute was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Camas, the Knights of Columbus, Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion. He enjoyed raising flowers.
A evening vigil service will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday at St. Thomas Catholic Church. A funeral Mass begins at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Camas died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2003, in Vancouver. He was 64.
Survivors include his wife, Mei-Fei, at home; one daughter, Joan Graves of Vancouver; three sisters, Su-Ejen of Los Angeles, Calif., and Su-Man and Su-Fei, both of Taipei, Taiwan; four brothers, Cheh-Jen of Chicago, Cheh-I of Taipei, and Cheh-Jan and Cheh-Ming, both of Los Angeles; and two grandchildren.
Mr. Su was a civil engineer and worked for several companies in the Northwest. He was a long-distance runner and enjoyed opera and reading.

Mrs. Brown, who attended Oregon State University, enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, crocheting and sewing. When she was younger she liked camping, boating and water skiing.
Inurnment will be in Crescent Grove died Friday, Sept. 12, 2003, at home. She was 83.
Mrs. Machado, a Christian Scientist, taught crafts to senior groups.
She was born Oct. 6, 1920, in Newark, N.J., and lived in Clark County the past nine years.
Survivors include one daughter, Laura Dodge of Vancouver; and one brother, William Proft of Green Valley, Calif.
There will be no service. Davies Cremation and Burial Services was in charge of arrangements.
