He loved camping, fishing and motorcycles.
A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at New Heights Church. Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Robert W. Devereaux

A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday in the auditorium of Washington School for the Deaf for Robert Wayne Devereaux, who born July 30, 1937, in Yakima, Wash. He had lived in Vancouver for the past 41 years.
He was a teacher, coach and principal at the school, retiring after 31 years.
His hobbies included golfing, fishing, working jigsaw puzzles and searching for bargains at garage sales. He was also a fan of the New York Yankees.
His son, Douglas, died Saturday, Sept. 13, 2003, at Southwest Washington Medical Center.
Mr. Herron was a manager at tire shops and had lived in Clark County for 25 years.
He was died Monday, Sept. 15, 2003, in Vancouver. He was 70.
Mr. Johnson was also a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict and enjoyed fishing and reading.
He was Cemetery in Portland. Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

A graveside service will start at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Garden of Inspiration at Evergreen Memorial Gardens died Saturday, Sept. 13, 2003, in Vancouver.
Mr. Smith, 76, worked in construction in California for many years. He lived in Vancouver since 1984.
He was died Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2003, in Vancouver. She was 86.
Mrs. Stith was died in 1991.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandy Ross of Vancouver; five grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
A gathering will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday in the hospitality room at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel, which is handling arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be given to a charity of choice.
Gregory N. Anderson

A landscaper who had lived in Vancouver for 30 years, Gregory N. Anderson born March 4, 1946, in Auburn, Wash., and was a member of Master Composters. He enjoyed plants, nursery work and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include one daughter, Julie Tarbell of Vancouver; one son, Jeffery of Fergus Falls, Minn.; three sisters, Mary Snell of San Diego, Alyce Rupley of Longview and Patricia Cornell of Ariel; one brother, Donald Schumsky of Renton; and five grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens died Monday, Sept. 1, 2003, of leukemia and pneumonia at his home in Vancouver. He was 78.
Mr. Chenette was died Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2003, in Vancouver. He was 103.
Mr. Earl was died in 1981.
Survivors include one daughter, Darla Kellogg of Battle Ground; one son, Willis E. Jr. of Sedona, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and special companion Flossie Caples of Vancouver.

Shirley J. Johnson

Shirley June Johnson, 77, born June 17, 1926, in Portland and had lived in Vancouver for 31 years. She worked as a bookkeeper before her retirement and enjoyed knitting, macrame, scenery painting, sewing and ceramics.
Survivors include her husband, Everett Lloyd, at home; four daughters, Judi Green of Kent, Wash., Vickie Steele of Windsor, Calif., Sandi Brinley of Vancouver and Cindi Nolan of Tigard, Ore.; two sons, Bruce Shirk of Santa Rosa, Calif., and Kennith Johnson of Vancouver; one brother, Warren Parker of Placerville, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Mr. Ownbey was born July 9, 1921, in Decatur, Ark., and had lived most of his life in Vancouver. He had worked as a fueler for the airlines.
