Ashley Rose Matson was stillborn Sunday, Sept. 28, 2003, in a Portland hospital to Heather Matson and T.J. Hunt of Vancouver.
Other survivors include grandparents, Brenda Matson of Camas and Theresa Hamann of Vancouver; and great-grandparents, Arlene Matson and Leah Barlow, both of Camas.
There will be a private service. Straub's Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of arrangements.
Nickolas P. Platt
Vancouver
Nickolas P. Platt, a long-haul truck driver, born Aug. 12, 1934, in Ontario, Canada, and lived in the Clark County area since 1976.
Mr. Platt was a member of Glenwood Community Church, and enjoyed boating, reading and singing.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Lillian L., at home; one daughter, Karen Kromminga of Ridgefield; three sons, Nickolas S. Platt of Hazel Dell, Craig C. Platt of Gardnerville, Nev., and Nickolas S. Platt II of Battle Ground; two brothers, John E. of Ridgefield and Eugene R. of Vancouver; and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will begin at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Glenwood Community Church. Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church benevolent fund.

An obituary for Clara J. Peterson in Tuesday's paper incorrectly stated there could be memorial contributions to the American Heart Association.
A service for Mrs. Peterson will be held at 1 p.m. today at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas.

A graveside service will begin at 1 p.m. today at Willamette National died Friday, Sept. 26, 2003, in Vancouver.
A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. at Columbia Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Schmautz was died of cancer Friday, Sept. 26, 2003, in Vancouver. He was 67.
Mr. Story was death, Joseph "Randy" in 1973 and John R. in 1987.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Roberta, at home; four daughters, Judith R. Lopez and Jennifer R. Chipman, both of Vancouver, Julie R. Story and Jeanne R. Gorman, both of Woodland; two sons, James of Woodland and Jeffrey of La Center; four sisters, Jolene Vandeputte, Phyllis Cooney, Deanna Vinyard and Kathy Allen, all of Kansas; two brothers, Truman and Gary, both of Kansas; and 12 grandchildren.
A service will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at the La Center Community Center. Davies Cremation and Burial Services is in charge of arrangements.

Steven L. Swanson born April 6, 1946, in Bertha, Minn. He lived in Clark County from 1948 to 1963.
Survivors include one sister, Arleen Klug of Battle Ground; and three brothers, Eugene of Vancouver, Gerry of La Center and Jim of Tampa, Fla.
A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 4265 S.W. Golf Course Road, Cornelius, Ore.

Darrel W. Wagoner

A graveside service will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at Willamette National died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2003, in Vancouver. He was 54.
Mr. Wagoner, a carpenter and a veteran of the Marine Corps, was died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2003, in Longview. He was 76.
Mr. Whittaker was Cemetery in Hood River for Leonard Wonsyld, who born March 18, 1924, in Yacolt.
After a medical discharge from the Navy, he served with the Merchant Marines, eventually working in the shipyards at Vancouver. He later worked in the logging industry before he suffered a stroke and retired early.
He liked to create jewelry from the rocks he collected on trips to Arizona. Mr. Wonsyld liked gardening, camping, fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Mary, at home; three daughters, Rae Whiting of Beaverton, Ore., Kary Betz of Hood River and Beverly Garner of Troutdale, Ore.; two brothers, Ralph of Hood River and Riley "Butch" Moore of Washington; one sister, Louanna Sparks of Parkdale, Ore.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Steven Allen Anderson, a shipwright at Christensen Shipyards Ltd., born Sept. 3, 1950, in Bellingham, Wash.
He was a graduate of Evergreen High School.
Survivors include his father, Lloyd Anderson of Gig Harbor, Wash.; one sister, Vicki Willis of Beaverton; and three brothers, Doug Anderson of Cornelius, N.C., James Anderson of Vancouver and David Willard of Cornelius, Ore.
Mr. Anderson, an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, enjoyed hunting, model airplanes and Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
A service will begin at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel.
Mildred M. Bedee
Prescott, Ariz.
Former Clark County resident, Mildred M. Bedee, born Nov. 27, 1913, in Canada. She lived in Vancouver from the 1950s until moving to Arizona in 2000.
Her husband, Boyden D., preceded her in Cemetery. There will be a private service.
