He graduated from Battle Ground High School and received his associate degree from Clark College.
He is survived by his parents, Ruth and David Bennett of Vancouver; and one brother, Mark of Gresham, Ore.
Mr. Bennett attended Calvary Baptist Church. He loved animals.
A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at Vancouver Funeral Chapel. Davies Cremation and Burial Services is in charge of arrangements.
Norma F. Stanard
Ocean Park, Wash.
Norma Faye Stanard born July 3, 1923, in Onalaska, Wash., and lived in Vancouver from 1948 to 1996. She moved to Ocean Park after she retired.
Survivors include two sons, David L. and Steven R., both of Ocean Park; one daughter, Deanna L. Reynolds of Portland; a brother, Roy Haberman of La Mirada, Calif.; one sister, Janette Anderson of Vancouver; seven grandchildren: and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at New Hope Baptist Fellowship in Ocean Park.
Nora E. Arevalo

There will be a private service for Nora E. Arevalo, who born Sept. 25, 1915, in Arizona.
Survivors include her stepmother, Mary E. Owens of Salida, Colo.; one daughter, Frances Robinette of Vancouver; one son, William Pruitt of Creston, Colo.; one sister, Mary A. Moore of Villa Grove, Colo.; four grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Karen R. Bailor

Karen R. Bailor, who lived in Vancouver the past 33 years, born Sept. 16, 1942, in Great Falls, Mont.
She worked for the Oregon Pharmaceutical Association for a couple of years.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, John M., at home; three daughters, Lyn Woodruff of Estacada, Leanne Lefebvre of Ridgefield and Kim Bailor of Vancouver; one son, Steve of Vancouver; one brother, Dave Olson of Lostine, Ore.; one sister, Kris Scharfenberg of Gresham; and five grandchildren.
A service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Red Lion Hotel at the Quay, followed by a graveside service at 1 p.m. at Memory Memorial Park. The casket will be open from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. Precht Rose Chapel in Chelan, Wash., is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, or Oregon Health & Science University oncology research.
Janeen A. Davenport

Janeen Aslin Davenport, a lifetime Clark County resident, born Jan. 8, 1947, in Vancouver. Her maiden name was Aslin.
Survivors include her husband, Bill, at home; one daughter, Kena Melum of Washougal; one son, Brian of Vancouver; and two grandchildren.
There will be no service. Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Genevieve J. Denis

There will be a memorial service later for Genevieve J. Denis, who born March 28, 1912, in Fargo, N.D., and lived in Camas the past year. Her maiden name was Grandbois.
She had worked for Blue Cross.
Her husband, Alphonse, died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2003, at home. He was 86.
Mr. Hixson was died in 1997, and a son, Ronald, also preceded him in Cemetery. There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. Sunday at Central Assembly of God Church in Yakima. Keith & Keith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

There will be a celebration of Cameron C. Holland's life at 4 p.m. Sunday at Assembly of God Church in Camas. He died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2003, in Vancouver.
She was a bookkeeper for Carnation.
Her husband, Walter, born Nov. 30, 1920, in Loyal, Wis.
She enjoyed traveling, flying, sewing and playing the piano.

JoeAnn R. Mullin born Aug. 14, 1931, in Toppenish, Wash. She lived in Vancouver since 1980.
She graduated from Life Bible College in Los Angeles in 1952. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Sue Williams of Puyallup, Wash., and Jeri Flowers of Vancouver; one son, Thomas Reardon of Ocean Park; one sister, Joyce Gemar of Kelso; one brother, Larry Bailey of Cashmere, Wash.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Leah Rhodes

There will be a memorial service later for Leah Smith Rhodes, who born July 30, 1908, in Warsaw, Ind. Mrs. Rhodes moved to Vancouver in 1982.
She graduated from San Jose State Normal School, now Cal State at San Jose, in education. She taught school until the 1970s.
She was a member of American Association of University Women. She traveled extensively until she couldn't because of health reasons.
Survivors include four sons, Robert of Etiwanda, Calif., John of Vancouver, William of Marietta, Ga., and Douglas of Victoria, B.C.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Her body was cremated. Straub's Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of arrangements.
