Charles A. Cocke, who served 20 years in the Air Force before retiring in 1974, born July 3, 1933, in Creighton, Mo.
Survivors include four sisters, Thelma I. Hathaway and Josephine Landers, both of Vancouver, Sue Armour of Kansas City, Mo., and May Viles of Fort Scott, Kan.; and three brothers, John Coke of Harrisonville, Mo., Carl Reynolds of Kansas City, Mo., and Arlie Coke of Las Vegas, Nev.
A graveside service will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at Northwood Park Cemetery in Spokane for Richard "Morrie" M. Gruber, who born March 31, 1928, in Spokane and lived in Clark County the past nine years.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, June, at home; one daughter, Gail Houck of Tualatin, Ore.; two sons, Greg of Vancouver and Richard T. of Dallas, Texas; two brothers, James J. of Seattle and Garry R. of South Lake Tahoe, Nev.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Gruber, who attended Eastern Washington University, was an accountant for 35 years.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and enjoyed fishing and golfing.
Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Naomi Hanson born Jan. 12, 1914, in Camas and moved to Vancouver in 1978.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lacamas Creek Ward. She enjoyed gardening, knitting and flowers.
Her husband, Walter, Cemetery. Straub's Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

Fred Fink

Fred Fink, who worked for Mayflower Milk Co. from 1948 to 1970, born Oct. 31, 1915, in Bosmont, N.D.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Norma P., at home; one daughter, Kayren "Suzie" A. Feinauer of Vancouver; two sons, Fredric "Fritz" D. of Maple Valley, Wash., and Dana J. of Vancouver; one sister, Evelyn Pluid of Vancouver; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Mr. Fink, a Navy veteran of World War II, was a member of Independent Order of Foresters and Clark County Bowling Association. He loved reading and bowling.
His body was cremated. There was a private service. Hamilton-Mylan Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Claude W. Jarvis

An open house gathering will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel's hospitality room for Claude W. Jarvis, 103, who died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2003, in Vancouver.
Burial will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Brush Prairie born Sept. 13, 1928, in Russia. He lived in Vancouver the past seven years.
Survivors include his wife, Yelizaveta I., at home; four daughters, Ludmila Pashkovskya, Nadya Polukhina and Evgeniya Soldatova, all of Russia, and Tanja Schmidt of Germany; five sisters, Maria Kirillov, Valva Ross and Luba Tandittniy, all of Vancouver, and Nina Badania and Vera Maximova, both of San Diego; and three brothers, Nicoli of Vancouver and Boris and Mikhail, both of Russia.
Alethea B. McBride

A retired registered nurse and member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Alethea Beatrice McBride, born Oct. 5, 1917, in Silverton, Ore., and moved to Vancouver in 1941. She graduated from the University of Portland in 1939.
She and her husband John were founding members of St. Joseph Catholic Church and she was a member of St. Jude's Alter Society, St. Joseph's Parent Club and the Young Ladies Institute.
She enjoyed traveling, spending winters in Yuma, Ariz., playing bridge and cribbage and tending her flower garden.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, John J., at home; two daughters, Mary Remsing of Vancouver and Elizabeth Kuepfer of Vancouver; one son, David of Portland; 11 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
Rosary will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, followed by a memorial Mass at 11 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Inurnment will be in St. James Acres. Hamilton-Mylan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Shirley St. Clair

There will be a private service for Shirley St. Clair, who born Feb. 20, 1924, in Eureka, Mont. She moved to Camas when she was a teenager.
Mrs. St. Clair attended Washington State University and worked at the H.R. Ward Store in Camas and met her future husband. After they died in 1996.
Mrs. St. Clair was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and enjoyed oil painting.
Survivors include two daughters, Daralee St. Clair of Camas and Ruthann Bixel of Boring, Ore.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Straub's Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of arrangements.
George B. Armstrong

George Bannon Armstrong, a businessman, born Christmas Day, 1914, in St. Paul, Minn. He had lived in Vancouver since 1978.
Survivors include his wife, Anne, at home; four daughters, Ann M. Stone of Longview, Roberta Clark of Bellingham, Wash., Kathlene Ready of Eugene, Ore., and Michelle Cook of Vancouver; three sons, Michael Armstrong of Carmichael, Calif., William Armstrong of La Jolla, Calif., and Jefferey Cook of Azores Islands, Portugal; one brother, John of Hemet, Calif.; 18 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will begin at 3 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel.
