Helen E. Blair

Helen E. Blair, who graduated from Vancouver High School in 1924, born Aug. 25, 1916, in Vancouver and lived her entire life in Clark County.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Don, at home; two daughters, Nancy Blair of Vancouver and Jean Blair of Bothell, Wash.; and two grandchildren.
She was a pilot and was involved with the Pearson Air Museum. Mrs. Blair also enjoyed travel.
A service will begin at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2003, in Vancouver. She was 91.
She was Cemetery. The casket will be open 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral chapel.

Rita C. Taitingfong

There will be a service later for Rita Cardenas Taitingfong, who born Feb. 9, 1906, in District of Agana, Guam. She lived in Camas the past three years.
Survivors include four grandnieces, Terry Aguon of Sierra Vista, Ariz., Antoinette Morta of Camas, and Rita Lucuab and Elizabeth Apiag, both of Mangilao, Guam; and one grandnephew, Joey Laguana of Mangilao, Guam.
Miss Taitingfong enjoyed gardening and cooking.
Brown's Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of arrangements.
Vernon E. Tisdale
Vancouver
Vernon E. Tisdale, who was a landlord, born April 29, 1909, in Bawlf, Alberta, Canada, and lived in the Vancouver area the past 57 years.
His wife, Emile, preceded him in died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2003, in Vancouver. She was 79.
Mrs. Ball, a nurse, was Cemetery in Portland for Loren A. Dietz, who born Feb. 23, 1928, in Broken Bow, Neb., and grew up in Twin Falls, Idaho.
A U.S. Air Force veteran, he was a California State Park Ranger for 26 years before moving to Vancouver.
After he retired, he made wooden puzzles for children and was affectionately known as the "Puzzle Man."
Survivors include his wife, Jeanne, at home; two daughters, Karen Burnham and Lori Dietz, both of Vancouver; one son, Randall of Brisbane, Australia; and four grandchildren.
Young's Funeral Home in Tigard are in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Valerie J. Lundquist Memorial Endowment Fund at Legacy Meridian Park Hospital in Tualatin, Ore.

A funeral will begin at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel for Lucille G. Heggem, who born Nov. 21, 1911, in Chicago, Ill., and lived in Vancouver the past 52 years.

Fern E. Jolly

Fern Evelyn Jolly, a homemaker, born Jan. 17, 1929, in Rock Falls, Ill., and returned to Vancouver four years ago.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel N., at home; four daughters, Kristine Laferry of Goldendale, Wash., Patricia Stamp of Ocean Park, Wash., Sheryl Thurman of Vancouver and Melissa Norried of Corning, Calif.; five sons, Daniel of Eugene, Ore., Thomas and Kenneth, both of Portland, Brian of Yacolt and Richard of Vancouver; four brothers, John Brotheridge of Naples, Fla., James Brotheridge and Robert Brotheridge, both of Rock Falls, Ill., and Lewis Brotheridge of Illinois; three sisters, June Carlson of Vancouver and Julia Gregorson and Marion Bladdown, both of Alabama; 23 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Jolly was a Jehovah's Witnesses member and enjoyed singing.
Cathy A. Jones
Vancouver
Cathy Ann Jones, a homemaker who studied cosmetology at Phagen's Beauty School NW, born Dec. 12, 1951, in Anaconda, Mont. Her maiden name was Mehrens.
Survivors include her husband, Michael R., at home; two daughters, Amy Hindman and Brenda Hindman, both of Austin, Texas; one sister, Dannette Arnott of Vancouver; and three brothers, Wally Mehrens and Marty Mehrens, both of Portland, and Michael Mehrens of Vancouver.
Mrs. Jones enjoyed fishing and feeding squirrels.
Rosary will begin at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, followed by a memorial Mass at 2 p.m. Private burial will be in Willamette National died Monday, Nov. 17, 2003, at Southwest Washington Medical Center. He was 69.
Mr. Laurence was died Nov. 13, 2003, in Bend, Ore. He was 78.
Mr. Nuttall was born April 1, 1925, in Portland and moved to Vancouver in the 1930s. After graduating from high school, he joined the Army Air Corps and served in World War II. He later moved back to Vancouver.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis, at home; one daughter, Mary B. Beatty of Bend; two sons, Paul of Tucson, Ariz., and Jeffery of Boise, Idaho; one sister, Gloria John of Vancouver; and five grandchildren.
He worked as a civil and mining engineer for Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Washington State Highway Department, Swift Creek Dam and Deschutes National Forest in Bend. He retired in 1985.
Mr. Nuttall enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf and camping.
A memorial service was Monday at First Lutheran Church in Bend. Autumn Funerals in Bend was in charge of arrangements.
