John W. Manning

A veteran of World War II, John W. Manning born Dec. 10, 1927, in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Mr. Manning, a boilermaker, had lived in the Clark County area since 1964. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Boilermakers Union, locals No. 72 and No. 500, and the American Legion Smith-Reynolds Post No.14. He enjoyed boating, fishing, bird hunting, motorcycles and his two dogs.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Diana, at home.
A service will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial at Willamette National died Saturday, May 29, 2004, in Sandy. She was 86.
Mrs. Reznick was death by her first husband, James R. MacDonald, and her second husband, Walter Reznick.
Survivors include one daughter, Luann "Maggie" Russell of Sandy; one brother, Irvin Jolliver of Vancouver; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Reznick was an avid bowler and a member of Women's International Bowling Congress. She showed Shetland sheepdogs and enjoyed dancing.
A service will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at Sandy Funeral Home. Burial will be at Willamette National died Thursday, May 27, 2004, at a Portland hospital. He was 54.

Jemae N. Kolodziejczyk-Uruo
Edmonds, Wash.
Former Vancouver resident Jemae Nicole Kolodziejczyk-Uruo born Dec. 12, 1987, in Portland and lived in Vancouver until 1991, when she moved to Edmonds.
Survivors include her mother, JoEllen Kolodziejczyk of Edmonds; her father, Joe Uruo Shikaru of Salem, Ore.; one brother, Joshua Kolodziejczyk-Uruo, at home; two sisters, Jacqlynn Shikaru and Janessa Shikaru, both of Salem; and grandparents, Joseph and Fay Kolodziejczyk of Battle Ground and Nachko Uruo of Vancouver.
A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. June 26 at Manor Evangelical Church in Battle Ground.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name at any branch of Washington Mutual to help with burial expenses.
Robert D. Larson
Ridgefield
A volunteer, Robert "Bob" D. Larson born Oct. 9, 1919, in North Bend, Wash., and lived in Clark County the past 34 years.
He was a sanitation supervisor in the health inspection industry.

Evelyn M. Poe

A funeral will begin at 12:30 p.m. today at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel for Evelyn M. Poe, who born Aug. 31, 1920, in Stanberry, Mo., and had lived in Vancouver since 1957.
Her husband, Benjamin F., died Friday, May 28, 2004, at the Ray Hickey Hospice House.
Mrs. Quinn-Meyers was death.
Survivors include her father, L.W. Quinn of Washougal; one sister, Mary Michael Kenny of Portland; and two brothers, Richard W. Quinn of Washougal and Dennis W. Quinn of Olympia.
A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 10509 S.E. Fifth St. Straub's Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

Francisco T. Quitugua
Battle Ground
Former U.S. prisoner of war in Guam during World War II, Francisco "Frank" Terlaje Quitugua born Sept. 13, 1926, in Asan, Guam. He came to the United States in 1949 and moved to Vancouver in 1952.
He was a cook for Pan Am Air and retired in 1988 as a warehouse supervisor for James River.
His first wife, Guadalupe, died in 1955.
Survivors include his wife, Maxine, at home; three daughters, Florence McMahon of Ketchikan, Alaska, Mary Martin of Battle Ground and Lydia Ripley of Portland; two stepdaughters, Alex Mansker of Boise, Idaho, and Doris DeChenne of San Diego; four sons, Frank Matanane of Port Orchard, Wash., Daniel Quitugua of Brush Prairie, Francisco Quitugua of Fort Bragg, Calif., and David Quitugua of Battle Ground; two stepsons, Carrol DeChenne of Harper, Kan., and Les DeChenne of Grants Pass, Ore.; one brother, Miguel Quitugua of Guam; 19 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
He loved to fish, camp and travel.
A funeral Mass will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Battle Ground. The casket will be open from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. before Mass. Layne's Funeral Home in Battle Ground is in charge of arrangements.

John Weddel
McMinnville, Ore.
Former Clark County resident John Weddel, 80, born Oct. 9, 1923, in Arcadia, Neb., and moved to Vancouver after retirement. In 2000, he moved to McMinnville.
He attended Hastings College and graduated from the University of Nebraska.
Mr. Weddel, who was a veteran of World War II, retired from the Bureau of Indian Affairs, where he received an award for meritorious service.
While living in Vancouver, he volunteered at Share House for 13 years and received a Golden Rule award.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie, at home; two sons, H.D. of McMinnville and David W. of Woodbridge, Va.; and four grandchildren.
A funeral was Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church, followed by burial in Evergreen Memorial Park, both in McMinnville. Macy & Son Funeral Directors in McMinnville was in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice, First Presbyterian Church or Coast Hills Community Church, all in McMinnville.

Benjamin O. Bylsma, 69, Born Oct. 12, 1934, in Bellflower, Calif., Mr. Bylsma had lived in Vancouver for 45 years. He enjoyed working puzzles and model semi-trucks.
Survivors include three brothers, Clifford of Rainier, Ore., Fred Jr. of Yuma, Ariz., and John of Topeka, Kan.; and seven sisters, Sylvia Henifin and Clara Brisby, both of Vancouver, Mary Lough of Seal Beach, Calif., Alta Spradline and Freda Stevenson, both of Kelso, Adaline Cornett of Joplin, Mo., and Ruth Buck of San Marcos, Calif.
A funeral will begin at 3 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. Burial will be private in Park Hill Cemetery.
