Robert M. Dungan

Robert M. Dungan, a graduate of Vancouver High School and Oregon State University, born May 2, 1923, in Vancouver and lived most of his life in Clark County.
He was a teacher, administrator and coach with the Vancouver School District until he retired in 1978.
Mr. Dungan, a World War II veteran, enjoyed the mountains and the beach, golfing and playing bridge.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Wilma, at home; two daughters, Boni Deal of Camas and Lori Montgomery of Benton City, Wash.; one son, Terry of Moses Lake, Wash.; one brother, Richard of Petaluma, Calif.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at Church of the Good Shepherd. Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Ethan P. Miller

Ethan Paul Miller, 6-week-old son of Mary and Paul Miller of Vancouver, born April 15, 2004, in Portland.
Other survivors include four brothers, Jacob, Austin, Dylan and Devan, all at home; and his grandparents, Paul and Debbie Miller of Ridgefield and Gary and Jeneane Dufour of Portland.
A graveside service will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Park Hill died Friday, May 28, 2004, in Vancouver. He was 94.
Mr. Omdahl, a Navy veteran of World War II, enjoyed woodworking, gardening and fishing.
He was died March 18, 2004, at home in Conway.
Mrs. Packard was died of cancer Thursday, May 27, 2004, at home. He was 10.
David had attended Cedar Tree School in Vancouver until he became too ill to attend two years ago.
He was died of Crohn's Disease on Monday, May 17, 2004, in Oakland, Calif.
Mrs. Gallagher, whose maiden name was Almer, was died Tuesday, May 25, 2004, in Vancouver. She was 46.

William L. McCallister

A career military officer who served with the U.S. Army, Air Force and National Guard for a total of 43 years, William Louis McCallister born Dec. 3, 1928, in Falcon, Mo., and had lived in Vancouver since he was a boy.
A member of Veterans of Foreign Wars posts in Vancouver and Tualatin, Ore., he worked in real estate, construction and farming, both during and after his years in the military.
He enjoyed fishing and working on trucks.
His daughter, Joann, preceded him in Cemetery. Hamilton-Mylan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Martin B. Plamondon II
Vancouver
A cartographer, historian, author, and lifelong resident of Vancouver, Martin Bruce Plamondon II, born May 30, 1945, in Portland. Beginning in 1969, and continuing through the '80s, he worked for the Clark County Mapping Department as a cartographer, head cartographer and finally as director of mapping.
He was a member of the National Lewis and Clark Trail Heritage Foundation and served on the Washington Governor's Lewis and Clark Trail Committee.
As an author, he published two volumes of trail maps that reconstructed the route of Lewis and Clark. A third volume will be released in late June.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn J., at home; his father, Marten B. of Vancouver; two daughters, Monica Teresa Plamondon of Vancouver, and Catherine June Endo of Kent, Wash.; two sons, Martin III and Gordon V., both of Vancouver; one sister, Delores Marie Hartzell of Puget Island, Wash.; four brothers, Richard, John and Bruce, all of Vancouver, and Michael of Ariel, Wash.; and one granddaughter.
Recitation of the rosary will begin at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday at St. James Catholic Church. A funeral Mass will follow at 12:10 p.m. Burial will be in St. John's Catholic died Friday, May 28, 2004, in Vancouver.
