Victor A. Williams

Victor Allen Williams born Jan. 5, 1932, in Liberty, Neb. He moved to Vancouver in 1964 and worked for Boise Cascade.
He graduated from the University of Washington as a chemical engineer. Mr. Williams was a member of a professional engineering society.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Rita, at home; one daughter, Patricia Coats of Seattle; two sons, Michael of Pleasanton, Calif., and Thomas of Vancouver; two sisters, Twila and Nedra, both of Arizona; two brothers, Zane of Hawaii and Joyce of Denver; and four grandchildren.
Mr. Williams enjoyed golfing and attending Husky football games.
A service will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel.

George E. Wilt

George Elmer Wilt born June 22, 1919, in Radville, Saskatchewan. He lived in Vancouver off and on throughout his life and had been in Vancouver for the past two years.
He worked in plywood mills.
His wife, Marge, preceded him in died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2002, in Vancouver. She was 75.
Mrs. Goucher, a homemaker, was died Sunday, Nov. 17, 2002, at Southwest Washington Medical Center. He was 40.
He was died Nov. 11, 2002, at home after having heart problems for the past 13 years. He was 64.
Mr. Moore was born and Cemetery.
Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Vincent E. Strittmatter

Vincent E. Strittmatter, a carpenter, born March 12, 1952, in Torrance, Calif., and had lived in Vancouver the past 11 years.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Strittmatter of Banning, Calif.; two sisters, Merry Lloyd of Mission Viejo, Calif., and Georgeann Cloud of Hanford, Calif.; and one brother, Clay of San Diego.
He enjoyed golf, music, water sports and the outdoors.

Helen L. Beal
Antioch, Calif.
Former Clark County resident, Helen L. Beal born Dec. 11, 1920, in Palermo, N.D. She lived in Vancouver from 1992 until 2000.
Her husband, John S., died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2002, at home. She was 84.
Mrs. Bishop was Cemetery in Salem. The casket will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday at Straub's Funeral Home in Camas.

Vivian C. Deter

Vivian Clair Deter, who owned The Candy Basket in Cascade Park, born July 11, 1923, in Concord, N.H., and lived in Clark County for 28 years. Her maiden name was Northcutt.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Earl, at home; one daughter, Linda Lange of Beaverton; one brother, William Northcutt of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and one granddaughter.
Mrs. Deter was active in Clark County Special Olympics and The Arc of Clark County. She enjoyed needlework.
A graveside service will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
