Former Clark County resident Gladys Berggren Stavaas born Feb. 26, 1938, in Vancouver and attended Battle Ground schools.
Survivors include her husband, Chuck, at home; and three sisters, Rose Kopman of Brush Prairie, Helen Griffith of Portland and Carolyn Baker of Lovelock.
Mrs. Stavaas worked at Coeur Rochester the past 12 years.
She was involved in the Lovelock community and had served for several years on the board of directors at Pershing General Hospital.
There was a service in Lovelock on May 8.
Lovelock Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Clifford C. Winders
Vancouver
Clifford C. Winders, a lift truck operator in a sawmill for years, born July 24, 1917, in Los Angeles, Calif., and lived in the Vancouver area the past 20 years.
His wife of 55 years, Roseline, died Sunday, May 16, 2004, in Vancouver. She was 73.
Mrs. VanAllen, a homemaker and a Clark County resident for 43 years, was death by her husband, Robert VanAllen Sr., in 1983.
Survivors include two daughters, Carey Price of La Center and Ida Laskowske of Vancouver; two sons, Chuck VanAllen of Amboy and Robert VanAllen of Vancouver; one sister, Irene Preston of Lincoln, Mont., and seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Linda Mae Arnold, a homemaker who lived in the Vancouver area since 1946, born May 4, 1924, in Ball Ground, Ga. Her maiden name was Ledbetter.
Mrs. Arnold enjoyed landscaping, quilting and sewing doll clothes.
Her husband, John E., Cemetery. Hamilton-Mylan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Gregory D. Bauman
Woodland
Gregory Dean Bauman, a 1967 Woodland High School graduate, born May 10, 1949, in Pasadena, Calif.
He worked for several companies, including the Bauman Egg Ranch, Yellow Freight and, last, at Premium Smoked Meats in Woodland.
Mr. Bauman had been a member of the Woodland School Board and president of Woodland Little League. He liked snowmobiling, fishing and coaching softball and loved his dachshunds, Snuggles and Oscar.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Ruth, at home; two daughters, Kelli Hoggatt of Kalama and Kerry Bauman of Vancouver; one son, Timmy of Woodland; his mother, Anna B. Bauman of Woodland; one brother, Dennis of La Pine, Ore.; one sister, Gayle Bauman of Woodland; and two grandchildren.
A service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ridgefield Nazarene Church. Dahl-McVicker Funeral Home in Kelso is in charge of arrangements.
Merlyn W. Castle
Woodland
A graveside service will begin at noon Friday at Frank Abel died Saturday, May 15, 2004, at home. He was 72.
Mr. Castle, an Army veteran of the Korean War, was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and Wolverton Gun Club. He enjoyed sailing, fishing, hunting and gardening. Mr. Castle was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars No. 1927 in Woodland.
Survivors include one daughter, Deborah Rockwell of Williamsport, Pa.; one son, Bill of Longview; one brother, Lowell of Yelm; two sisters, Doris Schrader of Portland and Darlene Holtby of Kent; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Woodland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Noah Edward Dodge, 4-month-old son of Christy Dodge and Ritchie Dodge, both of Vancouver, born Jan. 11, 2004, in Vancouver.
Other survivors include one sister, Natasha Dodge of Vancouver; one brother, Richard J. Dodge of Vancouver; grandparents, Leonard Nerton, Juanita Washington and Jean and James Dodge, all of Vancouver; and great-grandmother, Betty Schaffer of Vancouver.

Naomi Hastin, who lived in Vancouver for many years, born Aug. 31, 1933, in Newpark, Ark., and lived in Vancouver for many years.
She is survived by one sister, Joyce Mather in Portland.

Mrs. Pittillo was died Sunday, May 16, 2004, in Vancouver. He was 84.
Mr. Von Holt, an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, loved the outdoors, hiking and photography.
He was a member of Club Green Meadows and an avid body builder.
He was died in Yacolt from an accidental shooting Friday, May 14, 2004.
His gun discharged after he slipped and fell near Sunset Falls campground.
Mr. Zachary had been a water technician and was starting his own landscaping business.
He was born June 27, 1974, in Oregon City, Ore. He lived in La Center before moving to Vancouver about two months ago.
Mr. Zachary liked hunting, fishing, hiking and camping.
Survivors include his wife, Chastity, at home; two daughters, Tessa Fullen and Alexis Zachary, both at home; one son, Connor Zachary, at home; his mother, Christie Zachary of Aloha, Ore.; his father, George Zachary of Sweet Home, Ore.; and two sisters, Sarah Zachary and Rachel Zachary, both of Beaverton, Ore.
A memorial service will begin at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel.
