Mildred Donaldson

Mildred Donaldson, who lived in Vancouver and taught at the state schools for the blind and the deaf here for more than 20 years, Born in Sprague on Jan. 27, 1912, she taught in the Vancouver School District in 1951-52, then at the two state schools until 1975. Her maiden name was Hay.
Her 38-year teaching career also took her to Kentucky and Oregon.
She was a member of the National Education Association and the American Association of Retired Persons.
Her husband of 46 years, Donald, was principal at the School for the Blind here.
The couple moved from Vancouver in 1977. In retirement, they traveled on cargo ships all over the world.
She is survived by her husband, Donald; a son, David Paul Donaldson; and two grandchildren, all of Orlando.
Jessie L. Sperry

There will be a private gathering for Jessie L. Sperry, 98, who born July 29, 1904, in Brewster, Wash., and lived 34 years in the Vancouver area.
Her husband, William K., died in 1929.
Survivors include one daughter, Bettymae Anderson of Anderson Island, Wash.; one son, Donald of Lilliwaup, Wash.; one sister, Grace Damian of Brewster; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Sperry, a fan of the Seattle Mariners, loved playing cards, tending her garden and crocheting.
Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2002, in Kirkland, where he was visiting.
His life will be celebrated at 1 p.m. this afternoon at Vancouver Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Strittmatter was died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2002, in Vancouver. She was 90.
Mrs. Cochran, whose maiden name was Barnes, was died in 1984.
Survivors include four daughters, Joy Moore of Gresham, Ore., Rachel Bertsch and Carol Hudson, both of Everett, and Mary Fontana of La Center; one son, Paul of Vancouver; one sister, Bobbie Lee of Iowa; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Benbow, along with her twin brother, was died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2002, in Vancouver. She was 93.
Mrs. Bozarth was death.
She is survived by a son, Walter of Vancouver.
She enjoyed yard work. Mrs. Bozarth was a member of the Martha Washington Chapter of Order of Eastern Star 42.
There will be no service. Vancouver Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army for Christmas baskets.
Richard K. Holmes
Vancouver
Richard K. Holmes, who worked for Carnation Dairy for 19 years, died in 1974.
Mr. Holmes was died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002, in a local care home. He was 48.
Mr. Howard was Cemetery in Portland.

Kirk D. Keith

Kirk Dalton Keith, a seventh-grader at Hockinson Middle School, born March 6, 1990, in Centralia and had lived in Clark County the past year.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Katy and Casey Wood, at home; his father, Floyd Keith of Alexandria, La.; three brothers, Angus A. Wood and Aiden B. Wood, both at home, and Austin C. Keith of Pineville, La.; grandparents, Harriet and Gordon Fleming of Winlock, Wash., Frances Whatley of Alexandria, Judy and Jim Walton of Woodbridge, Calif., and Shirley and Jack Wood of Austin, Colo.; and great-grandparents, Laura and Robert Whannell of Centralia.
Kirk attended Crossroads Community Church and was a member of the Friendship Club. He was a participant in a medieval re-enactment program. He liked cartoons, nature and the family pets.
A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Christian Fellowship of Winlock. Layne's Funeral Chapel in Battle Ground is in charge of arrangements.
