Former Vancouver resident, Kevin Patrick West, born Jan. 11, 1951, in Boise, Idaho, and lived most of his life in Clark County.
He graduated from Columbia River High School and served in the Washington National Guard for six years.
Survivors include his mother, Mary C. West of Vancouver; one daughter, Tiffany West of Phoenix, Ariz.; one son, Ryan of West Bellingham; and two brothers, Michael R. of Washington, D.C., and Chester D. of Vancouver.
The casket will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by a memorial service at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel in Vancouver.
Donald P. Zink

Donald P. Zink, 80, born May 9, 1923, in Wessington Springs, S.D., and had lived in Vancouver for 43 years.
He served in the Army during World War II with the 149th Combat Engineers and was among the first wave of soldiers to land on Omaha Beach at Normandy, France on D-Day. He also participated in Rheinland and the Battle of the Bulge and was recently honored with a Jubilee of Liberty medal.
He received his master's degree in physical education from the University of Iowa and worked as a criminal investigator for the Department of Justice Immigration and Naturalization Service for 28 years.
He enjoyed gardening and being outdoors.
A son, Kerry Thomas, died Wednesday, May 5, 2004, in Vancouver. He was 82.
Mr. Gunderson was Cemetery. A memorial service will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Church beginning at noon. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Hamilton-Mylan Funeral Home.

A died Friday, April 30, at Southwest Washington Medical Center. She was 83.
Mrs. Balken was died Saturday, May 1, 2004, in Vancouver. He was 82.
Mr. Dahlin was married his wife, Betty, March 1, 1963, in Vancouver.
He was preceded in died Saturday, May 1, 2004, at his home at the Warm Beach Community Center near Stanwood. He was 85.
He was married in October 1941.
His first job in the ministry was as custodian and youth pastor at Piedmont Friends Church in Portland. From there he worked as pastor at a series of churches, including 15 years at Camas Friends Church and 15 years at First Friends Church in Vancouver.
For seven years after semiretirement he was pastor at Cherry Grove Friends Church in Battle Ground.
He also loved fishing and hunting and reading Louis L'Amour books.
His wife preceded him in died Thursday, April 29, 2004, in Camas. She was 79.
She was preceded in died earlier this year.
Mrs. McLeod was died Friday, July 30, 2004, in Vancouver.
Mrs. Anderson was died Wednesday, July 28, 2004, at her home in Vancouver. She was 34.
Mrs. Conover-Trembly, whose maiden name was Silbernagel, was died in 2002.
Survivors include her husband, Rory J., at home; two daughters, Kendra Marie Conover and Jessica Ann Conover, at home; her father, Antony Silbernagel of Vancouver; two sisters, Susan Mayer of Woodland and Paula Miller of Kalispell, Mont.; two brothers, Andrew Silbernagel of Billings and Lance Cpl. Aaron Silbernagel of San Diego; her grandfather, Raymond Zelka of Fort Smith, Mont.; and her grandmother, Mary Burns of Vancouver.
A service was Saturday at Hazel Dell Church of Christ. Family Memorial Mortuary of Portland was in charge of arrangements.

Beatrice F. Hill

Beatrice F. Hill, 92, born April 6, 1912, in Roseburg, Ore. She moved to Vancouver five years ago from Eugene, Ore., where she had worked as a teacher and office manager at Eugene Business College, and as a bookkeeper for a furniture store.
She attended the University of Oregon and served as financial adviser to her sorority, Alpha Delta Pi.
Her husband, Delbert, died Thursday, July 29, 2004, in Portland.
Mr. Luther was Cemetery. Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
