Ethel M. May, 95, born March 6, 1909, in Springston, Idaho. She moved to Vancouver 22 years ago after living in Yakima, where she and her husband operated a dairy, and Ellensburg, where they owned a motel.
Her husband, Leo, died Monday, July 26, 2004, in Clackamas, Ore. She was 89.
Mrs. Morby, whose maiden name was White, was died in 1998.
Survivors include one son, Jack J. Jr. of Portland; four daughters, Louise A. Dulong of Clackamas, Janet M. Hendricks of Mount Vernon, June E. Kline of Gresham, Ore., and Linda M. Bookwalter of Bothell; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was Saturday in Gladstone, Ore. Stehn's Milwaukie Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Ellen Gale Roth, 59, born April 1, 1945, in San Francisco, and lived in Clark County for four years. She worked as an assembly worker for a cable manufacturing company.
A member of St. Mary of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Ridgefield, she enjoyed church activities and was involved in women's Bible study.
She liked cats, cooking, gardening, sewing, and reading and writing poetry and short stories. She also enjoyed listening to music and watching British comedy on TV.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, James P., at home; two daughters, Christina Overstreet of Fremont, Calif., and Amanda Roth of San Jose, Calif.; and one sister, Marion Harper of California.
A funeral Mass will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Burial will be private in St. Mary's Catholic died Monday, July 26, 2004, in Vancouver.

Survivors include one son, Robert Sharp of Vancouver; two stepdaughters, Shelly Holper of Astoria and Sherry Holper of Vancouver; and one grandchild.

Sondra A. Wooden

Sondra A. Wooden, 44, born Oct. 15, 1959, in Port Lavaca, Texas. During her youth, she lived in Texas, Australia, North Carolina and Pennsylvania, before moving to Vancouver in 1974.
Following her graduation from Western Washington University, she moved to Houston and worked with computers until the aneurysm caused her to return home to Vancouver.
Survivors include her parents, Marion D. Wooden and Laura F. Wooden of Washougal; two sisters, Terry Doland of Everett and Brenda Hatcher of Maple Valley; and one brother, Douglas of Vancouver.
The body was cremated and private family services have been held. Hamilton-Mylan Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Gene C. Jarvis

Retired business owner Gene C. Jarvis born Sept. 15, 1927, in White Salmon, Wash., and lived in the Clark County area for 70 years.
He owned Central Electric Motor & Service in Portland for 28 years. He retired in 1977.
His son, Paul, Cemetery.

Sally Eileen Nab, 52, born March 22, 1952, in Winslow, Wash.
Mrs. Nab worked as an accountant and real estate broker and for Fred Meyer in Portland before moving to Skamania about six years ago.
She was a member of Bethel Community Church in Washougal. She loved music and enjoyed ceramics and crafts.
Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Guy, at home; her mother, Marcia Johnson of Clackamas, Ore.; one son, Beau of Skamania; one sister, Valerie Stone of Vancouver; and one brother, George Johnson of Clackamas.
A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bethel Community Church. Straub's Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
Lou E. Snider

A graveside service will be later for Lou Ella Snider, who born May 11, 1924, in Abilene, Texas. She moved to Vancouver two months ago.
She was in business buying and selling property.
Mrs. Snider liked painting and collecting antique dolls.
Survivors include three sisters, Lois Mackey of Leesburg, Fla., Ruby Harris of Redlands, Calif., and Grace Dunagan of Escondido, Calif.; two granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in died Thursday, July 29, 2004, in Vancouver. She was 90.
Her husband, Murle, died in 1995.
Mrs. Wallis was died Tuesday, July 27, 2004, in Longview. She was 84.
Mrs. Courtney was died in 1979.
Survivors include two sons, Jack of Longview and Jim of Memphis, Tenn.; one brother, Orvin Stavaas of Fergus Falls, Minn.; two sisters, Irene Miller of Rochester, Minn., and Beverly Thompson of Fergus Falls; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
