Cecelia Mae Boyce, 80, Born Feb. 20, 1924, in Sioux Falls, S.D., Mrs. Boyce lived in Phoenix, Billings, Mont., and Spokane before moving to Vancouver six years ago.
She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Camas and enjoyed reading and sewing.
Survivors include her husband, Hunter H., at home; two daughters, Mary A. Gubala of Camas and Lee Ann Boyce of Vancouver; one son, Hunter Boyce II of Billings, Mont.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A private family service will be held.
Davies Cremation and Burial Services is in charge of arrangements.

Mary Margaret Fox, a real estate agent with Re/Max Equity Group, born Oct. 12, 1937, in Roseburg, Ore. She was a member of the National and Clark County Associations of Realtors and did volunteer work with the AIDS Foundation.
Survivors include two sisters, Julie Leialoha of Vancouver and Joyce Gallagher of Rocky Hill, Conn.; and one brother, John Michel of Vancouver.
A memorial service will begin at 3 p.m. Thursday at First Church of God.

Shirley Nadine Grant, a member of East Vancouver United Methodist Church and the Sweet Adelines Women's Barbershop Quartet, born Feb. 26, 1925, in Welcome, Minn., and moved to Vancouver in 1947.
She was a registered nurse and enjoyed bowling, gardening, playing cards, knitting, cross stitching, reading and sports.
Her husband, James E., Cemetery.

Laraine Hards

Laraine Hards, 86, born Jan. 16, 1918, in Taylorsville, Miss., and moved to Vancouver in 1969.
She was member of Northside Baptist Church and enjoyed attending services as well as the Friday morning breakfasts hosted by the Senior Adult Bible class.
She liked working in her rose and flower gardens. She enjoyed the giant fig tree that grew in her yard.
She was known for giving away the fruit fresh, as well as making fig preserves.
Survivors include her husband, Elmer, at home; one son, Steve of Vancouver; four sisters, Bobbie Tanner of Laurel, Miss., Bettye Jefcoat of Soso, Miss., Ellen Watkins of Pearl, Miss., and Mary Thomas of Jackson, Miss.; and three grandchildren.
A funeral will begin at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. The casket will be open from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Melba E. Harter

Melba Elizabeth Harter, 84, Born Aug. 24, 1919, in Battle Ground, she attended Battle Ground grade school and served as valedictorian for the Battle Ground High School class of 1937.
Music was an important part of her life. She played the trumpet in high school and the piano at the Foursquare Gospel Church for 40 years.
She also played piano for the church choir and a male quartet.
A member of First Church of God, she became active in the Joy fellowship group after her retirement. She enjoyed traveling, especially on cruise ships and to Hawaii.
Survivors include her husband, Don, at home; three daughters, Marlene Grentzer of Chester, Va., Patricia "Patti" Martinson of Vancouver and Colleen McGary of Grapeview; one son, Rodney of Orlando, Fla.; one sister, Norma Haney of Battle Ground; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at First Church of God.
Private burial will be at Memory Memorial in Vancouver. The casket will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Monday at Vancouver Funeral Chapel.

James E. Peppers

James E. Peppers Jr., the owner of Peppy's Landscaping since 1952, born May 30, 1928, in Elba, Ala. He moved to Vancouver in 2001.
He enjoyed flying airplanes, riding motorcycles, and traveling.
Survivors include his wife, Paula J., at home; four sons, Steve and Chris of Vancouver, Wayne of Alabama, and Tim of Monroe; four daughters, Ann Hull of Alabama, Jennifer Austin of Renton, Deborah Van Allen of Yakima, and Holly Cochrane of Spokane; one stepson, Tim Walker of Vancouver; one stepdaughter, Gina Forncrook of Vancouver; one sister, Eloise Fuller of Alexander City, Ala.; 26 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. Private burial will follow.

David J. Wilson

David Joseph Wilson, 53, born Aug. 29, 1950, in San Diego. He lived in Washington for 25 years. A welder, Mr. Wilson's last job was helping to put together roller coasters for Myler Coaster.
He enjoyed gardening, fishing, aquariums, camping, and spending time with friends and family.
Survivors include his mother, Dolores Miller of Carson City, Nev.; one daughter, Denise Barylski of Sacramento; one brother, Drew Alvarez of San Diego; and his special companion, Rhonda Lepak of Vancouver.
Private services have been held. Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Zella M. Fisk

Zella May Fisk, who lived in Vancouver the past 30 years, died in 1990.
Mrs. Fisk was died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2004, in Vancouver. He was 70.

Donald T. Adams

A graveside service will begin at noon today at Willamette National died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2004, in Bellevue. He was 77.
Mr. Adams was manager of the American Red Cross in Vancouver from 1959 to 1975.
He was died in 1976.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Barbara, at home; two daughters, Catherine Adams and Cindy Engle, both of Bellevue; and two granddaughters.
Mr. Adams was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He retired as a captain in the Army Reserves after serving 39 years.
Green Funeral Home in Bellevue is in charge of arrangements.
